Hi there! I’m the Jill in JTP. I started this company back in 2010 and have since expanded the team to include other amazing creatives. Working with people, telling stories, and documenting moments are the things I'm most passionate about in my work. Outside of photography – I love to travel and try anything new. I'm at peace in the mountains, or anywhere with a breeze on my face. But I also love sitting on the couch sandwiched between my husband, dog, and two cats.

    We had our engagement photos with Jill and they were amazing!! The engagement shoot helped us to get comfortable in front of the camera and Jill provided just the right amount of guidance. We were so excited for her to photograph our June 2020 wedding, but then COVID hit and we had to postpone.  Even with all of the uncertainty, Jill was very supportive, understanding, and flexible during the extremely stressful times. We worked closely with Jill throughout the process and talked through any changes along the way.  After being told we would need to wear masks during our wedding ceremony in church (heartbroken that our first look moment walking down the aisle would be taken away) – Jill shined through with the fantastic idea of having our first look outside of our condo.  It made for such a special moment and one we would have never thought would make such a good backdrop.  Jill is very talented and had an attention for detail the entire day of our wedding ceremony and it shows in all of our photos.  She captured all of the love and emotions of the day you can feel when looking through the pictures. The photos are priceless memories we will be able to look back on and treasure forever.  We can’t wait to work with her again for our reception in 2021!

    Jill and her team recently shot my wedding and did a phenomenal job throughout the day. Jill is super professional and did a great job of leading throughout the day and was able to efficiently coordinate a host of people and various shots to get all completed beautifully. Her work is beautiful and if there's a place to invest in a wedding - it's the photos and memories. So grateful to Jill and her whole team for capturing the beauty of our wonderful day!

    ALL THE STARS AND MORE!! Jill is honestly THE BEST. We used Jill for our engagement photos and our wedding, both in Chicago. From beginning to end, Jill's professionalism, attention to detail, overall passion behind the lens, and ambition to provide quality photos to clients was prevalent. With so many locations for shoots in Chicago, Jill helped us talk through options, and provided examples and ideas that really helped us game plan for our big days. She made sure she was informed on our preferences, and that expectations are clear for all parties. During the shots themselves, Jill took the lead and helped instruct throughout, which was extremely helpful for two non-photogenic individuals. I loved seeing Jill's creativity shine through when after grabbing some initial photos, she'd jump in with an idea or a new angle or shot she wanted to try...those were some of the most unique! On our wedding day, it was well over 100 degrees and Jill never complained once or deviated from making sure we were comfortable with the game plan, throwing in other options for locations and timing in case we felt we could no longer take the heat, and even made an on the fly suggestion for an alternative location when our planned one was unexpectedly closed that day--because she knew the look/scenery we were going for, we ended up with amazing shots that are now some of our favorite. Jill's style (photo-journalistic/romantic/candid/timeless), coupled with her technical photography skills, are reasons we decided on Jill and her team, and we could not be happier with the results. We of course captured some of the formal family shots as expected, but our favorite pictures are the ones capturing the raw emotions of the day...each time we look through them, we laugh and cry all over again because you really can look at them remembering and feeling the exact moments...and to us, that is the BEST AND MOST MEANINGFUL thing you can hope for in photographs (I wish I could put that last sentence in BOLD). As if all prior traits weren't painting an amazing enough picture, throw in the fact that Jill is very people oriented, always dressed with a huge smile on her face...you can't help but want to be in her presence! She knows how to run her business and the steps and decisions that need to be made to continuously deliver quality and timely results. I can't recommend Jill and her team enough!! Thanks JT Photo!!
