"I only had 6 months to plan my wedding, so when I contacted one of Seattle's top photography companies they were already booked for my summer 2015 wedding date, but recommended Molly of M. Magee Photography. During all our email communications, she would write back immediately. During our one-on-one meeting, we went with the engagement session and wedding day package. Wedding photography isn't cheap, so it was more than I originally thought but her prices seem on par with the market in Seattle. The engagement session allowed us to get comfortable with her and getting our picture taken. I would highly recommend couples do this! My clothing choice didn't really come off that well in the photos and I wish Molly would have been able to see when little tweaks were needed (example: half of my collar was popped for many photos). On the wedding day, my venue had a very strict photography timeline because it’s a working business. Molly managed to get A LOT of photos in the condensed timeframe and the photos were beautiful. She went above and beyond her duties by communicating with band members and catering staff. My event designer was very impressed with the amount and variety of photos Molly took. Molly sent preview pictures just a day or two after the wedding then posted the rest to a client portal and sent flash drives (loved those). Her hip, vibrant personality showed in the photos and I feel so lucky to have hired her. These were magazine ready, top quality. A couple of photos could have gone from great to amazing if small tweaks would have been made like fluffing out my dress train, pushing a piece of hair back, etc., but Molly is a spontaneous shooter and likes to capture real moments as they happen. Retouching was hit or miss."
