I've been a full time professional wedding photographer in Nashville for 20 years. I've seen hundreds of photographers come and go but I stick with it because I still have fun with my couples and bridal parties, I still enjoy making people laugh, I still enjoy the challenge of catching tears and setting up beautiful lighting in challenging situations, and most of all I enjoy the friendships I've made with my clients over the years. I get back together with them when they have babies and for yearly family portrait sessions. Photography gives purpose and meaning to my life and it just happens to be tons of fun!

Matt Andrews is truly good at what he does, no doubt about it. He is so personable yet professional and can think fast and be totally creative all at the same time! I have worked alongside Matt for over 10 years helping him photograph weddings and I have learned so much from him both technically and personally. I think his approach to photographing weddings is genius in his own way. He has a way with people that is masterful and he somehow enters a room or any environment and immediately decides how he's going to use the light and pose the couple or wedding party. Even though he's been doing this for so long, he still gets so excited about setting up a shot and sharing the epic results. It's a no brainer to hire Matt. He will work so hard for you on your wedding day not only getting the best photos, but making your experience awesome as well. Matt Andrews is one of Nashville's best!

I charge $500 to add a 2nd photographer and I pay that exact amount to my 2nd shooters who are all full time photographers who charge much more than that to shoot their own weddings. They often nearly double the size of your deliverable and I make nothing extra from editing all of those extra photos but I hire the best and not inexperienced people hoping to learn so it does cost a little extra.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

I can manage a team of videographers to work along side the photographers and when I do I personally edit the videos.

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

You can expect about 150 to 250 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. Last year out of over 40 weddings they all received over 1,500 images and most received over 2,000 in their final deliverables.

I often have weddings booked over a year out but it depends on the season. My busiest months each year are May, June, September, October and December. My slowest months are January, February, July and August. You can sometimes land me just a few months out during a slower month but it will be hit or miss.
