Wellers' Carriage House is a beautiful and historic property. It was purchased in the early 1900s by Henry Ford, and was restored for the purpose of milling soy beans for their oils. In 1966 the property was purchased and restored by the Weller family, and the 10-acre property is now rented for weddings and other events. Open house is on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

"We used the Raisin River room, the smaller and less expensive room at Weller's. The room was so beautiful and unique, and we got a lot of compliments on it, perfect for a smaller wedding of under 100 people. We spent less on venue than other friends who used generic banquet halls, so I think we got a good deal. Food was well worth the money and fairly priced for the quality, it was the best wedding food I have ever had and many of the guests agreed. My only regret from the night was not eating more! One thing to keep in mind is that alcohol is not included and needs to be bought separately, we actually ran out of white wine, but they let my aunt run out and get more. "
"Wellers' is a beautiful location to be married in. We, luckily, had fantastic weather and utilized their gorgeous grounds for our ceremony. You will be amazed at the serene setting they are able to create. Wellers' is known for their food- they do not offer tastings, but do have plenty of reviews to read. Trust in these reviews! Everyone loved the food, even going back for seconds! The liquor store they work with is reasonable, delivers everything you order to the venue, and sends you home with the left overs. Wendy and her daughter Andrea are wonderful women- very clear with the policies and options they make available. You will not be disappointed in your decision to invest in Wellers'!"
"They helped us create a timeline and then they made it happen day of. They don't do tastings but everyone raved about the food. Linens & centerpieces were included, it was so pretty we didn't need a lot of extra decor. I would choose Weller's again."
"Beautiful venue and very helpful staff. Guests loved wandering around the gardens and dancing outside in the gazebo. Food was delicious and we had so much fun. The only suggestion we would have is to make sure to have clear signage, as some guests were confused where to go because there was another wedding going on in a different building."
