"The Francis Marion is the real deal. It's a beautiful venue in an ideal location in downtown Charleston. Your guests will love staying there, but if they can't afford it, they won't be too far. The rooms are lovely and the main ballroom is gorgeous. It's such a relief having the food and tables, chairs, place settings, etc. all included, and the food was DELICIOUS. Also, this is such an economical option because of what's included, yet everyone thought we must be rich - simply because the hotel is so beautiful and historic. We didn't have a single problem at the Francis Marion, during the planning OR the event itself, and their event planning/coordination staff are top notch."
"Francis Marion Hotel was our reception venue. Everything was perfect. Gillian Crum, the wedding coordinator, made the whole process so easy for us and she was there for every detail on the day of. Couldn't have asked for more. Francis Marion is so easy to work with and wanted so much to provide the wedding of our dreams. Their wedding package is all inclusive: a room for either the night before or night of your wedding, food (from the amazing chef at the Swamp Fox), venue, a storage room during the event (luggage and such), tables, linens and I'm sure more that we didnt even know was happening. In the months leading up to the wedding, our meetings with Gillian put us at ease. She's on top of it all! They had the ballroom decorated for Christmas. We loved it and our pictures because of it! "
