"Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn was absolutely amazing!! Their events staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, the food is delicious and the venue is stunning. We were looking for the perfect venue to throw the best party, without having to decorate much. This venue has so much natural beauty and they provide centerpieces and LED trees to help aid in ambience. It was a true pleasure working with them on our special day. "

"Can't wait to do it again! My dad still raves about the wedding and how it was the most fun he has had in decades and wants us to repeat everything for our 5 yr anniversary! Plumpjack kept popping up in our searches for wedding venues based on our criteria. We dismissed it since I thought of it as the place we used to eat lunch when we went skiing at Squaw, while we were all sweaty in between lifts, and that didn't scream or even loudly say WEDDING to me. BUT it was PERFECT. We had looked at mostly oceanside venues but the fog was too much of a risk for us. We took a trip to Tahoe to check out some venues in Incline and once we got exhausted from yet another string of so-so venues we stopped to eat lunch at Plumpjack. Sitting in the patio eating ahi cones we both realized how pleasant it was and how perfectly everything suited us, from the food, to the cocktails, to the trees, we were in heaven. So we stopped searching. We arranged everything onsite, and it made the day SO easy for everyone that it was totally worth it. We had a lot of people flying in so getting to sleep in late, get dressed and just walk downstairs to the wedding was a big plus. We had the ceremony at 11 am, took the 20s-40s crowd on a party bus with the bridal party to take pictures at various sites. Then had everyone, guests and all, jump on the tram up to high camp. When we came back down Plumpjack had everything ready for our cocktail hour on the patio, followed by dinner on the patio. Everything was superb and went off without a hitch. Marion and Ilana were excellent and even handled a pretty tense slip up around our custom cocktails with grace. We used the upper room for our reception and Liz at Celedon and Woody at Crux had really brought all our design inspiration to life. Overall Plumpjack was an outstanding venue, and I am so excited to host our vow renewal there in another three years!"

"Plumpjack's facilities were beautiful, the perfect setting for a wedding with 100 guests that still felt small and intimate. We had our ceremony creekside, cocktail hour by the pool, dinner in the downstairs ballroom and the reception upstairs which, made our wedding feel grand but without the cost. There were a couple of miscommunications along the way but any problems were quickly addressed, Rob even helped us hang our lanterns the morning of our wedding. I would highly recommend this location it delivered the mountain wedding in September my husband and I were hoping for. One critique is that their corkage fee is high, we had friends whose wedding gift to us was a wine they hand made for us and Plumpjack charged $25 per bottle to serve, a little ridiculous in my book."

"PlumpJack was the perfect place to have our dream wedding. The location was just gorgeous. I loved having a separate place for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Also, everyone at PlumpJack was so easy to work with and friendly. "
