A centerpiece of the 12-acre New Orleans Botanical Garden, the Pavilion of the Two Sisters is modeled after a traditional European orangery. With its long banks of arched windows, the Pavilion offers lovely vistas of the Zemurray Azalea and Camellia Garden featuring the Fluteplayer fountain by artist Enrique Alferez to the east and the original 1930s garden and new Conservatory to the west.

"We viewed the City Park in the Fall where many flowers were still in bloom. The grass was also very green and well manicured. By the time we returned to New Orleans for our wedding in April, unfortunately the picturesque gardens were scorched by sun and what flowers remained were washed away by heavy rain. Oversized and visually distracting sculptures were still present from the Chinese New Year a couple months prior. Nonetheless, we recommend the venue as everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The grounds were clean and well air conditioned. The large venue gave plenty of room for our families. When guests wanted to get a breath of fresh air from those heating up the dance floor, they could enjoy themselves by the lovely illuminated fountain outside. Lastly, the City Park staff truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we booked to the end of our reception, they were prompt, professional, and always eager to accommodate."
"Beautiful venue, excellent food, and wonderful customer service!! City Park was very easy to work with and was extremely accommodating to most (possibly all) of my requests. Sean the wedding day coordinator was fantastic and made sure everything ran on time and went smoothly. City Park provides a tasting 2x per year for the bride & groom to taste and choose food. I am so thankful they had a tasting! My guests raved about the food!! Lines for the bar were kept short (we did 2 inside bars and 1 outside, instead of just the two inside). I loved that they had a private room for the bride and groom to eat. My memories of my wedding day at the Pavillion of Two Sisters are nothing but fantastic! I am so happy I chose them as my wedding venue. "
"Absolutely stunning view of the gorgeous botanical gardens from the large windows. The venue is a large room and the tables are positioned around the dance floor. This is important so that everyone has a nice view of your first dance and feels included in the fun (even if they don't dance). I had about 200 guests and this was the perfect amount of people for the area. I actually think that 250-300 would fit really comfortably, too. My event coordinator was Cathy P. I worked with her from the time that I booked my venue until my wedding night. I am not a very opinionated person or consider myself to be hard to accommodate. But, she was not enjoyable to work with. I did hear the exact same thing from other brides that worked with her, BUT she was the only option at the time. If possible, request anyone but Cathy. It will save you and your wedding planner a head ache or two. The night of my wedding I worked with Michelle (I think) from city park events and she was absolutely amazing to me and my bridal party! She made me feel like a princess and I and truly grateful for her. Such a sweetheart! I always had food on my plate and drink in my hand. Now let's talk about the food- it's just simply amazing. My guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed the food and all of the New Orleans style options. My guests always appreciated the short lines and courteous staff at the pavilion that waited on them. I had at least two open bar stations and there was never a long wait for a drink! Very important!! :) From one New Orleans bride to another- I would definitely recommend this venue for your special night!! The venue comes with chairs and tables and any color table linens. I chose a white theme with elegant pastel colors on the tables. You don't need a ton of flowers because the views to the garden are just gorgeous. This venue is definitely ideal for a band. Hope this helps! Xox "
