Oh, my wedding loving heart is having a field day with this Colorado affair - the perfect combo of rustic and classic set amongst the stunning Rocky Mountains, and all for one of the most darling duos, Electra & Justin. Let me set the scene: beginning the day with frolicking with parasols with your best friends in a field of purple lupine, arriving to the ceremony in your late father's restored baby blue Porsche, marrying the love of your life in an evergreen grove with those pretty mountain peeks poking through, and ending the day with a whimsical cake adorned with colorful florals. JA Special Events executed this day flawlessly! Scrolling through these stunning images by Alive Studios, it looks to me like it was a day overflowing with loads of fun, emotion and love. Congrats to the newlyweds!
Electra had a number of personal and DIY projects in her wedding. Most noteworthy was the baby blue Porshe that she and her brother finished rebuilding after their father passed away. Her brother, Theron, drove Electra up the woodchip path to the back of the aisle as a nod the the role their father would have played.
Other DIY projects completed by Electra and friends include: - a custom cornhole set painted like the Colorado flag with E&J monogrammed at the bottom - a custom wooden sign created to direct guests to all the festivities - aspen branch bases with "mountains" created from photo mats, each representing a different 14'er and used as table names - a quilted "in memory" sign for Electra's late father's chair - mad libs cards for guests to fill out about their experience at Electra & Justin's wedding in lieu of a guestbook
