I have been playing guitar in Austin, Texas... ...since 1989. I am a full time musician and I perform regularly for corporate events and weddings. Even though I have been playing the guitar for so long there is still so much to learn. I enjoy the process of learning new things and improving on what I already know. There are endless ways you can play a song and there are so many good songs to play. I was born in 1966 so I am heavily influenced by the music around that era which explains The Beatles, Stevie Wonder and The Great American Songbook.

Lover of all things music... I fell in love with music when I first heard The Roots -"What They Do! " It captivated me and the beat had me hooked. I started making my own mixtapes and always wanted the music to never end. I continued to play for family and friends and zone out. Until one night with my brother, we spent hours playing classic hip hop and rap hits. I told myself that If i can do this off memory than mixing it together with a database of music would be simple.

I love making the wedding a special event for the couple. My job is the dancefloor. I rate myself based on how many people stayed on the dancefloor and for how long. My clients will tell you that people stay on the dancefloor most of the night on my events. Because I do a lot of homework before every event in preparing all the music they selected. Unfaded Brass Band is comprised of 10 members from New Orleans and surrounding areas that have assembled together to incorporate elements of hip-hop, jazz, soul, and pop music and added the brass band framework to it. . The band has members from Mississippi, but most were born and raised in New Orleans. After being displaced by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, members of the band fled to Dallas and planted their roots within the city. In 2014, our founder, Jermaine Devezin saw the need to bring the brass band culture to the Dallas area based on the growing number of fellow New Orleanians who along with the band now calls Dallas home. sband/
