Hi! I’m Jess. I approach wedding photography with a photo journalistic eye, seeking out the authentic experiences of your day rather than fabricated moments. I shoot mostly film, medium format and 35mm, as well as a little bit of digital, to create timeless imagery that ages gracefully. Alongside weddings, I also run a tintype photography business. I offer the option to add on custom tintype portraits for weddings within a 6 hour driving radius of Portland. I am trained as a fine art photographer, studying at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and SFAI. I now live in the small town of Washougal, WA on the edge of the Columbia River Gorge.

Growing up, I was obsessed with magical love stories. Fairy tale love stories always left me with a euphoric feeling. I now get to document these stories being a professional photographer, & I LOVE IT! This is not a job for me but a passion that I am grateful to pursue. There are many good photographers out there, but what makes me unique is my passion for what I do. I will do anything to capture the most intimate moments for you to enjoy for a lifetime. I started photography as a second shooter with another local photographer and I fell in love with it. I love every aspect of my job, from meeting new people to editing photos.
