Hi I’m Abby! been told all my life that I have an artistic flair and a gift for creativity, but that’s not the only reason why I started my career in wedding photography. I’m the biggest romantic and feel things deeply — in my photography there’s no detail in your connection that goes unnoticed. The little winks and smirks that silently set your soul on fire, the quirks that stay hidden to everybody else but you, and the parts of them that somehow make you fall in love with them even more… They’re how I tell stories because I know that in time, those are the things you’ll cherish the most.

Born and raised in Kansas with a passion for capturing memories. I fell in love with photographing families, couples and weddings. I live for the moments in life and think moments and milestones are to be photographed.

I'm a natural light, documentary style photographer and videographer, specializing in capturing candid moments, and my favorite medium is natural light settings (working outdoors, or next to beautiful windows!). ​My philosophy when it comes to capturing gorgeous images is less is more; I keep my setup minimal, so I can focus on you and your loved ones and capturing the memories as they are happening. Along with my husband, John Paul, who is my second shooter, we have over two decades of combined experience in the wedding industry, and we would love to discuss with you how to best capture your wedding day!

I believe you deserve pictures of yourself that you really like, and it shouldn’t be difficult to get them. Pretty simple, right? If you struggle feeling confident in front of the camera, don’t worry. I have definitely felt that too, and my aim is to make you comfortable so that any anxiety leaves you quickly. You are beautiful, and I’ll prove it to you! I love authentic interaction, genuine emotion, and uproarious laughter. Fake smiles and stiff poses are not my thing. I am passionate about documenting weddings with couples who wish to express their personalities and identities. I love working with people from many different backgrounds and getting to know you before the wedding day so that I can take photos that YOU love. All of my packages include a first consultation to discuss pricing, plan your engagement session and get to know one another. I also include a final consultation with couples to plan out your schedule and shot list so that we can be sure to write up a schedule that will let me take the types of photos you want. I also love to plan intimate elopement coverage and destination weddings.

The best smiles come from laughter and that is my goal. I aim to make sure my clients feel loose and comfortable in front of the camera. Making an absolute fool out of myself during the session is almost a requirement. Being a mom of two toddlers keeps my goofy meter maxed out! I come prepared with prompts and poses, but love when clients are wanting to step out of the norm and try something more creative.
