I am a wedding photographer based out of Pittsburgh, aspiring to capture the love of others both right in my hometown and all around the world. (So no matter where you are getting married--let's chat!) I fell in love with photography seven years ago, which is crazy. I still remember the day I got my first camera. My brother said to me, "You're probably going to love it and end up being a wedding photographer." "Umm, I don't think so...," I replied. Well...the joke's on me. And the best part about it? I LOVE it. I am so passionate about my photography and the business I've been blessed to call my own for nearly five years.

My husband, Tyler, and I are high school sweethearts and are fur parents to Bodhi and Maui, who I use often as my muses. We love to travel to new places and explore new areas to hike with our dogs. My name is Kashia. I know you're looking at my name wondering how in the world do you pronounce that, no worries I am here to help! It is pronounced Asia- with a K in front. Have you ever had an "ah-ha" moment in when you realize that what you're doing as a hobby you could turn into something much more? I am going to be that girl and say it, I am the one that grew up with a camera in my hand! When that turned into taking pictures of my fur babies AND my very own beautiful babies that is when my "ah-ha!" moment hit me. I wanted to capture these memories not only for my own walls, but for other people also.

I enjoy capturing moments in time: the first kiss, the smile of a small child, and the look of pride on a father's face. In those candid moments, people don't realize I'm there shooting, until they see the final images and it brings back the memories they thought were lost. My entire life, I have always been an artist and super creative. I have been shooting for a little over 9 years now. WOW it feels so weird saying that. I am so honored to get to do what I do everyday and I seriously wouldn't have it any other way. I started off with a little point and shoot camera where I took photos of my friends to make them feel beautiful and then continued to grow and grow to where I am today.
