Welcome to the Villa on Verona, a historic Italianate style villa built in the 1860's. The estate has been newly decorated and furnished, with five luxurious and beautifully appointed guest rooms, as well as Bride and Groom's quarters. Your guests will be awed by the expansive stone front porch, and sprawling garden landscapes in our ceremony and reception backdrops. Inside the Villa, elegance and charm set the stage for a grand wedding weekend. This destination immerses you in rich history while maintaining the comfort of modern living. The Villa provides the perfect resort feel, with the personal touch of our service. Your event manager will ensure that the final details of your weekend run smoothly, so you are free to focus on your big day. Host your wedding party or family on-site for added comfort and convenience, up to 16 guests. Located at the intersection of Interstate 69 and 94 in Marshall, Michigan, connecting Detroit, Lansing, Grand Rapids, Chicago and beyond.

Venue is set in a historic building right in Downtown Monroe along the River Raisin. Outdoor space is available for a ceremony or cocktail party prior to your indoor reception. We rent the hall for the day, 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays for $750. We rent for an 8 hour block of time Sundays through Thursdays for $375. With either rental we charge a $250 security/clean up deposit. That is refunded after the hall has been returned in clean/undamaged condition. We only rent the hall, which includes use of the tables and chairs. Your rental fee that holds your date is non-refundable. You are free to have your ceremony and reception at the facility, many people have done this in the past. For linens, dishes, food etc, you would need to contact a provider for those. Nazareth Hall is known throughout the region as a banquet and wedding facility, but it’s the rich history and lush setting that draws people here. Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. It is in this picturesque place, reminiscent of castles of old, that brides come to be married and celebrate with family and friends in grand ballrooms. The classrooms and meeting spaces offer the perfect vintage background for business training sessions, and the manicured lawns have been host to numerous parties and festivities.

We only use The Liquor Cabinet for alcohol. You may bring in your own insured food caterer. The Chapel at The Morris Estate (formerly Morris Farms) has been providing a breathtaking backdrop for weddings since 1938. E.M. Morris built The Chapel as the Centre Meeting House on his 1,000 acre farm in Niles, Michigan. It began as the setting for his daughter's wedding and has since hosted important events for both the Morris family and community. Although there have been renovations to add modern conveniences, the property's quaint atmosphere and rich heritage will continue to be maintained. The area surrounding The Chapel provides a lovely and convenient location for a reception after the ceremony.
