I'm a Seattle-based photographer who loves country music and getting to meet awesome new clients. One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting to capture all the important moments and life and all the in-betweens. I love getting to know my clients and helping them open up in front of the camera. When I'm shooting, I love to do a mixture of posed and candid, but my main goal is to capture your personality in the photos.

I never meant to be a wedding photographer - but somehow, here I am. I started my career as a newspaper reporter, and left that to be a writer and photographer for a public university. Almost 10 years into my second career, I was laid off - so I turned some pretty sour lemons into Lemonade Photography. I'm a lifelong Northwesterner, a mom to two boys, a nature lover, a proud geek and quite possibly the biggest Harry Potter fan you'll ever meet (don't challenge me to a Potter trivia contest; you WILL lose). I love to laugh, and I love to make my clients laugh along with me.

I'm Mati, a Chilean-born and Seattle - based full-time photographer. When I was studying adventure tourism (yeah that's a degree), planning all sorts of reckless outings, I never imagined I'd find my calling in capturing the moments before a groom sees his bride or a couple about to expect their first baby. But over the years, I've found a passion for photographing people-more unpredictable than mountains and wilderness. I spent years doing all sorts of jobs-avalanche safety in the high Andes, ski instructor for little kids, outdoor gear specialist, and more. In these jobs, I realized I never forgot to pack one thing-my camera.

I want to capture all your in-between moments, those are my favorite, the way you guys sneak looks and steal kisses. I don’t want to be just another person who shows up and waves a black box in your face. I want your photos to represent your effortless connection, the closeness with your person, and all the other things that make you guys YOU! I am inspired by your love and I want to capture YOUR raw and real story. I want to tell it through my photos.
