Charley Rice Weddings was founded in March 2022 with the vision of bringing intimacy and personality back into weddings. Charley was ordained by the American Marriage Ministries that same month and began performing ceremonies shortly after. In January of 2023, she began accepting coordination clients as well. Since then the business has grown almost entirely from word-of-mouth. Currently, Charley Rice Weddings offers three comprehensive officiating packages and two comprehensive coordination packages in addition to event rentals, honeymoon planning, and other add-ons.

I have a dirty little secret… I never wanted to be a wedding planner. It was never something that was on my radar. What is important is that my heart is in help and service. Born and raised in St. Louis, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge about local wedding vendors, traditions, and styles. I'm Rachel! Here, as an artist, to help the couples who want a unique and special-to-them wedding. I'll be the best fit for couples that want to play around with the limits of tradition and think outside of the box. I came to STL to get my MFA and fell into Wedding DJing on accident. 6 years later I'm in love with love, planning, and weddings. I come from the vendor side of things, so I truly know what vendors have to offer and who can do it best. I'm also largely involved with the art scene in STL and that means I can connect you with vendors that are also on the more avant-garde side of the wedding biz.
