“I’m not sure where to even begin with this. I’m in the hospitality industry and have trouble letting go. I talked to 4 planners before Allison and after talking to her I felt I knew her for years. A major thing for us was this was a gay wedding and she was super supportive of our community! She respected the fact that I’m also a control freak and let me do a few things I wanted to. She met me to look at the venue, communicated with all my vendors, I popped in once on day of set up cause I forgot something and she said to me. Please call me if you forget anything, I’m here for you, you have enough to handle. All of my vendors had extremely positive feedback. She also made sure we ate ourselves, I think we through a few changes in the itinerary and she just rolled with it. I had guests comment she looked great (belongs at a wedding, she was polite and my father pulled me aside and said it was a smart decision and told me she was killing it as he watched her run around and handle things all night). “Charlene is one of the best wedding planners I've seen to date! Not only was she super punctual, but she made sure to not only double check everything - but TRIPLE check everything to make sure we had everything we needed for the big day. I am the kind of person who, as annoying as it can be, I ask a million and two questions. Charlene was amazing and answered every question I had and reassured me in the moments I needed it most. From the day we sat down to plan, up until my day, I knew I had an unbiased person to tell me if I was becoming a bridezilla or not (to which she always told me I was doing what every bride does and I was fine!) My mom had made these beautiful signs and printed pictures out that we had wanted scattered throughout the venue and when we walked in, we were thrilled at how she set everything up. “Victoria is honestly a miracle worker. We got married in July 2023 and I started planning the wedding only 4 months prior (while in a very demanding graduate school program), so to say I needed some help is an understatement. I hired Everlasting Affairs in April 2023 as a day-of/month-of wedding coordinator and she was incredibly helpful, she went above and beyond and honestly did way more than what was required of her job description. She acted as an advisor; she is a straight shooter and I knew I could always trust her advice and opinion. I hired several vendors literally 1-2 weeks before my wedding and did tons of stuff last minute due to my school constraints, and she was never phased by my disorganization in the slightest. She helped guide me through the process with both big and little details and I really don’t think I could’ve pulled it off without her (and the wedding was a huge success, tons of my guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and I owe a lot of that to Victoria). I also had a minor issue with the florist about a month before the wedding - when I told her about it she immediately got involved and resolved the issue. The day of the wedding, the 3 year old ring bearer had a full on meltdown for over an hour right before the ceremony with loud screaming and hysterical crying. It was very upsetting, and we almost lost both the ring bearer, and his dad, who was my husband’s best man, minutes before the ceremony bc the dad had to take care of his son. It was a mess and I was so stressed out. Not only did Victoria calm me down, she also somehow waved her magic wand and helped calmed down the little ring bearer. So both him and the best man were still able to walk down the aisle and be in the ceremony, no screaming and crying involved. I honestly feel like she saved the entire wedding by helping resolve that situation. For the rest of the wedding, she did an amazing job of organizing my very disorganized family, keeping the timeline on track, and coordinating with all the vendors - all while doing it with kindness. I seriously felt like I had no stress at all leading up to my wedding because I knew Victoria could handle anything that you could throw at her with ease. Her and her team were incredible.”
