Hi, I'm Laurel! I love to capture authentic, candid moments between you and your loved ones, as well as variations on classic poses. I like to think of myself as a storyteller for sweethearts in love. I specialize in natural light wedding photography, with an emphasis on fine art and candid images. On wedding days, my second shooter is my sweet husband, Jakub– that’s right, we are a husband and wife team! I love shooting all the emotion-filled moments and delicate details on your wedding day, and I couldn’t imagine doing it without Jakub by my side. My name is Rae Marshall and I've been photographing weddings for 15+ years and now have over 500 weddings under my belt. I love weddings because I love documenting relationships. I used to be a divorce attorney, I had brain surgery, and now I'm a wedding photographer. Yes, you read that right. But there's obviously more to the story. Before going to law school I went to school for photojournalism and even worked for newspapers. After brain surgery turned my life upside down, I realized I wanted to go back to my roots as a photojournalist and I wanted to capture truly joyful, enthusiastic moments and voila - I fell in love with weddings and photographing them.
