The Carolyn Baldwin Lake Pavilion is named after our dear loved one, Carolyn Varner Baldwin, who unexpectedly passed away in 2008 due to an allergic reaction. She was the matriarch of our family and a beautiful, one-in-a-billion type of person with a generous and loving spirit. She was a talented gardener, a devoted fisherwoman who could out-fish the best of 'em (we're talking "sun-up-til-sundown" kind of fishing), was creative and artsy, and never knew a stranger. We felt it only fitting to name this lovely place in her memory. We are a family-operated business. Joanna is the General Manager and works with each client to accommodate varying event needs. She handles a wide range of aspects of the business, from answering questions about what will make your event run smoothly to giving you layout suggestions. She has worked with over 200 wedding & event clients over the last 10 years and has learned quite a bit about weddings & event planning through her experiences.

We're a family-owned working farm located in New Castle, VA about 20 minutes from Roanoke. We have >100 acres of pristine land that backs up to National Forest land. The back of the farm has a small, rustic barn that has been converted for use as a intimate ceremony and can accommodate several people or a covered area for serving food, cake table, and gifts area. Couples are welcome to hang photos and decorate the barn to their liking. There is ample room for tents to accommodate DJ services, dance floor, caterers, etc. The lower section of the property is meticulously maintained and has a built-in stone grill and a large fire pit that couples are welcome to use. Ample parking is available. Power is available via generator to power lights, music, etc. We're happy to work with couples or wedding planners to make your big day unique and stress-free.

Belle Garden Estate is a luxury, outdoor, historic wedding venue. We are located in Wirtz, VA. Just 25 minutes from Downtown Roanoke and 15 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake. Greenock Manor is a 150 year old Farm house with towering giant trees (they are grand old grandpa's and we love them!) The Manor is a beautiful restored traditional American Victorian style farm house with a delightful wrap around balcony. We aim at a homely feel for our bridal families to reduce stress. We include a ton of props - so please visit us - we look so forward to meeting you We set up the ceremony chairs for our couples as well as the tables and chairs for the reception area before you arrive for your wedding day to reduce stress. Any decor items you need are set up by us such as shepherd hooks, easels, signs and much more. We also include lawn games and we have a firepit for use just to add extra ambience. Best part we are across the road from the nearest hotel so guests can walk to our venue AND up to 16 guests can sleep over at Greenock for the whole weekend - so many more happy memories. The Market at Grelen is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest venture, The Grelen Depot. The Keswick Hunt Club was founded in 1896, and the building with its 2018 renovation can host wedding receptions, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and every special celebration. The entrance and restrooms have ADA accommodations, new HVAC for all seasons, additional new dining space, and a new modern catering kitchen for your favorite caterer. Kardinal Hall is a modern take on an Alpine-inspired beer hall & garden. Centrally located in the historic art-deco Coca-Cola building built in 1939, the repurposed warehouse and bottling plant is situated in Charlottesville’s Midtown area between Downtown and UVA. We boast a large patio with an outdoor bar, classic German Biergarten tables, and two professional-level bocce courts. Enjoy the rustic-modern elements of our spacious Main Hall, sprawling indoor bar, and private back room. A perfect location for your urban wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and everything in between!

Couples can host a gorgeous outside ceremony on the concrete patio, or opt for a covered pavilion ceremony. The pavilion is open on three sides to bring the beautiful scenery indoors, but the sides and barn-style doors can be closed in the event of inclement weather. Inside the pavilion, lighting is provided by lanterns and chandeliers, and a large hand-crafted fireplace takes spotlight, with rocks from the farm incorporated into its design. The outdoor patio is attached to the pavilion, creating an extra space that can be used for a ceremony, reception area, or dance floor. A second pavilion was completed in 2018 to provide reception space that is separate from the ceremony site, but within close proximity. This pavilion is completely enclosed and offers a gas fireplace as well as lanterns and chandeliers for lighting. As wedding guests arrive, wedding parties can use the bridal suite to get ready.

If you want the convenience of having your ceremony within feet of your reception, or if your guest list is much bigger than estimated our pond side pavilion has small covered area and enough space for up to three 50'x90' tents!
