    Dogwood Floral
    Knoxville, TN

Hi! I'm Katy, the owner and floral designer here at Dogwood Floral. We are a Knoxville floral studio specializing in garden-style and bespoke floral arrangements in East Tennessee. This style is a more organic approach to floristry than some of the more classic forms, and aims to reflect the ways that flowers and foliage grows naturally. This is why it sometimes has that "wild" or more "messy", often greenery-heavy look. We love incorporating a lot of texture into our designs to add visual interest and depth! ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, we would love to chat about your needs.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

          5.0

          Oklahoma City, OK
          • Serves Corryton, TN

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

So I ordered specific flowers that I wanted to match your theme for our wedding and the website was pretty easy to navigate and they have estimates on how much of each you would need which was nice. They came in 3 days before my wedding day and I immediately unboxed them and had buckets of water for them ready. The night before I started making corsages and boutonnières and morning of my bridesmaids helped make all the bouquets. It was a bigger job than I originally thought and glad I had help so I would say maybe have at least 2 other people willing to help ad maybe practice run with supermarket flowers beforehand to help ease the anxiety.

I absolutely loved the process with Poppy. The only thing I would say that I missed out was meeting my florist day of to say thank you. They were so easy to work with and reasonably priced compared to other florists in the area. Their website is so easy to use. They were very attentive, listening to everything that I wanted for my wedding day. I loved working with Poppy and highly recommend to any bride.

          • Starts at $175
          • Serves Corryton, TN

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

          Awarded Best of Zola
If you’re considering faux flowers, this is the place to use! My bouquets turned out so beautifully based off of our inspo pictures and they look so real no one could even tell they weren’t! The turn around time was exactly as mentioned in the FAQ of their website, it took about 4 weeks from the day I confirmed them and made the purchase to receive them in the mail! And the straight forward pricing list is accurate and appreciated! Brittany and her team were super easy to work with as well. We’re so glad we went with The Faux Bouquets and I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Now we have our gorgeous wedding flowers to keep forever as well! :)

I just wanted to reach out finally after our wedding and let you know how in love I was with all our floral decisions! The process was easy, seamless and, with a little help from my friends, a memory maker. I was totally oooo-ing and ahhhhhh-ing opening all the flower boxes after i picked them up! Each box was another wonderful surprise and i was floored with the quality! AND, best part, they lasted for days and being transported in the back of a work van to the Cape for our festivities. I have been highly recommending your business to everyone that asks. I’ve included some of the professional photos in case you wanted to use them on your site, due to file size, I’ll send a second email with additional photos. Again, I’m in love with bloom culture and cannot thank you enough for customized boho beauty your flowers added to our wedding!
