Aysha Gomez-Kureishi is a professional wedding musician in the Bay Area, California. A student of the harp since childhood, Aysha is a classically trained musician with a BA and MA from Stanford University. Having spent most of her life performing, she has played to audiences across the globe and adores being a part of each couple’s special day. Blending world-class musical skills with a warm and personable personality, she strives to provide every celebration with a timelessly elegant soundtrack. Aysha is a preferred harpist for Nestldown, Waterfall Lodge, and the Marin Art and Garden Center.

Welcome to The Soft Lights' page! Our catalog includes r&b, pop, disco, rock’n’roll, and jazz music, from Natalie Cole and Randy Crawford to ABBA, Stevie Wonder and Chakka Khan. Combined, our musicians have decades of musical experience. Our smaller jazzy trio and quartet are a perfect fit for intimate venues, setting an upscale mood; and our full band encourages listeners to tap their feet or head to the dance floor. Our vocalist has incredible range, tone and agility, and keeps the crowed engaged. We take our job seriously; we are easy to work with and can adjust to suit the needs of our clients.

I’m passionate about teaching and calling community dances that bring people together to experience joy, appreciate down home country music, and celebrate love! I come with a 3 piece live band and have lots of experience calling and coordinating dances for groups of 12 to over 300 people. I call the monthly Barn Dance at Pie Ranch as well as other community, private, and wedding dances all around the Bay Area.

A DJ’s responsibilities usually start well before the music and dancing. This might include sound support for your ceremony, presenting the wedding party, setting up a slide show, or coordinating the bouquet toss. We’ll do all this — then pack the dance floor with the songs you want to hear.

Brassworks Music gives you exciting live music for your wedding ceremony and reception. Give your guests a Royal Welcome with the brilliance and majesty of Gabriel's Herald Trumpets. Set the tone with Prelude Music played by the Brassworks Quintet. Announce the Bride with a Flourish of Trumpets! Our Heralds will welcome your guests to the Reception as well. Our Brass Quintet or Flugelhorn Trio will give you tasteful Cocktail Hour & Dinner Music. Then, the 6-piece Brassworks Band will ramp up the fun and get everyone dancing! We love to work with brides & grooms (and their families) to deliver a fabulous live musical experience.

My music combines vocals & guitar and can be upbeat or mellow, depending what's appropriate. I'd love to learn your song. Offering soloist-rates with the skills of duo and providing music for weddings and private parties. 5 years experience as a professional lounge musician playing 4 times a week at upscale resorts including Four Seasons, Hyatt & Waldorf Astoria. I respond to all inquires within 24 hours. I have a P.A. system and can play 3 hours of great covers songs, 1 hour of originals or a mix of both. I can also put a 3-5 piece band together if you're looking for more upbeat music!
