After serving the Bay Area for years, I've moved to Lincoln and looking forward to serving our new community. A little about me: Always lived in the country raising cattle and horses. Grew up learning from mother about all things florals. Worked in vet med for years while also doing wedding flowers with my mother. Now that my husband and I have moved to Lincoln I decided to start my floral business full time.

My love for floral design began over a decade ago - I had the opportunity to work as a wedding coordinator at a local winery. It was there that I learned and trained in the art of floral design. I learned the ins and outs of floral arranging as a young thing, through watching my talented mother in action. Something I wouldn’t use till much later in life, I honor her life through my craft. I feel the guidance as I work through this career and it has all fallen into place so naturally. Being able to give the gift of flowers for a wedding, and set off the decor for such a special event brings me embrace joy. Connecting with people who are about to embark on their journey together is such a special special seat to sit in! I look forward to each new adventure this petaled path takes me down.

Soil Sisters Farm is a diversified farm in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of California, on Nisenan land, and a stone’s throw from the South Fork of the Yuba River. We are a women-owned business, founded in 2010 with a commitment to valuing healthy relationships – to oneself, one another, and the land – as a way to bring health and beauty into our community. We raise flowers, vegetables, and a pretty happy population of bees on a one and half acre parcel of leased land just outside of Nevada City.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.
