The Bushnell Event Center is one of the leading venues for hosting weddings, ceremonies, corporate events, holiday parties, showers, and other events in Downtown Springfield, Ohio. Built in 1893, the remarkable venue has led the way in hosting the most elegant events. The Bushnell Building was built in three stages in 1893, 1903, and in1939. The building continues to be renovated internally to meet tenant needs. The Bushnell Building remains of the most impressive original structures to flank the city’s central square. We offer a peaceful, romantic, outdoor setting celebrating the beauty of nature for 15 to approximately 120 guests. We can host your rehearsal, wedding, and reception and provide a place to stay for 11-25 guests using a variety of alternatives. We will plan ahead for inclement weather using tents, even a shelter house across the street. Have your wedding late in the day and sit around a bonfire as the evening draws to a close. If you take steps to test your marriage strength Before You Say I Do, either Warren or Pearl can be your officiant/pastor. We offer a one-stop planning service that includes Zola to simplify your wedding planning, even if you choose another venue. Our indoor venue can host 20+ people. Using tents or our patio we can host 50+ people. When you are ready, we will open the door to a lasting marriage, as well as, planning for your financial future.

We are the Boswell family. Wolf Run Acres is concept that came about after hosting our daughters weddings and struggling to find the country setting they wanted. After hosting one on this site under a tent we rented, we decided this is a beautiful setting for a wedding venue. We wanted to give our guests a beautiful dream country wedding, but design it to be more industrial and modern and less rustic than comparable venues. Our hope is to give each couple, a unique, beautiful setting while ensuring they have the wedding of their dreams. We work with each couple from the time we meet them through their day, making sure we meet all their needs and coordinating with their vendors to ensure they have as stress free and enjoyable day as possible.

Our barn is over 100 years old and we added on a new barn onto it. Together they can seat up to 200 people for a wedding reception. We have added beautiful bistro lighting so not a lot of additional decorating is needed. You have your choice of 4 different outdoor ceremony sites. A grain bin gazebo on a stamped cement pad with bistro lighting is available to be used as a ceremony site or the setting for cocktail hour / outdoor bar. The bridal party has the admissions barn to use for wedding prep and the room on the back of our new restroom building is where the groomsmen can get ready in.

Once the site of a summer camp, The Brook offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to go beyond planning events, and start creating experiences. This 180 acres includes lush forests, tranquil groves and, you guessed it, a stunning brook winding throughout. The Brook offers a range of on-site lodging options and activities, guaranteed to leave you with memories that last a lifetime. Although no longer a summer camp, we still strive to provide that same exciting, carefree getaway vibe for all of our guests. While only 30 miles from Columbus, we encourage you to leave your worries behind, enjoy our secluded slice of paradise and fully immerse yourself in The Brook!
