My name is Sarah! I’m a preschool teacher and Wedding photographer. I’ve always been obsessed with love since I can remember. I’ve photographed TONS of weddings now and quite frankly, to this day each one still makes me cry.

Every moment is unique, every couple is unique. I get to capture my amazing couples and the moments that make them up in really stunning and interesting ways that tell their special story. I love what I do. I have this amazing profession of photographing moments and telling stories through the combined voice of my clients lives and my creative eye. But this is not about me. Jasmine is a California born and bred photographer with over 7 years of experience shooting weddings. While on lockdown in March of 2020, she met a photojournalist from Minnesota named Jacob. After years of watching Jasmine in the business, Jacob joined as a wedding videographer to put his experience as a storyteller to work. We now travel as a couple to capture love across the states, no travel fees wherever your wedding is.

I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world! All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camcorder or camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera + tons of film. I documented everything. When film turned into digital, that was a turning point in my life. Since then, my memories, large + small, have been organized on my computer, by year. So I can go back + revisit so many wonderful memories from my life...most which I wouldn't remember without pictures!

For as long as I can remember I have always loved to create. My passion for photography started when I was a teen. As I honed in on my craft I began to photograph on a more professional level right out of high school, but stepped away for academic pursuits. After completing both a bachelors and master's degree in Anthropology, I came full circle, determining that a career in doing something creative was where my heart lies. Whether it is your wedding, or any other special moment in your life, I cherish the opportunity to document it in a way that highlights the artistic elements, while still capturing an authenticness that is uniquely you.

I shot my first wedding in 2004, and from that moment on, I was hooked! It's an honor to witness and capture such an important moment in the lives of my couples. Before specializing in weddings, I focused on fine art and night photography. I earned a BFA degree in studio art from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!), and a MFA degree in imaging arts/photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. I taught black and white, digital, alternative process and studio photography at the high school, university and adult education levels. I love both the planned events and the unintentional, quiet moments that make a wedding unique!
