Our mission at the Crane & Pelican is to provide our guests with the highest quality, full service, fine-dining experience, in our beautiful & historic location, The Dawley House. Proudly serving the Quad Cities since 2009, we are family-owned & operated, women-owned, & LGBT-owned. We opened the Crane & Pelican Cafe in 2009. Our vision was to make real handcrafted food, with a full-service top-shelf bar, in this beautiful location. Any changes we have made to the property have been to restore it to its original glory. We added live Jazz in 2021 and we look forward to making some amazing new memories here at the Dawley house.

The August Hill Winery Tasting Room is the perfect place to host your next event. Our staff can help you plan the perfect party, complete with our handcrafted wines, beautiful surroundings, gourmet treats, catered food and more. Three areas of our Tasting Room are available after business hours to host your private party. Guests can mix and mingle in the Tasting Bar, be seated comfortably in the elegant Lounge (open to guests 21 and over), or enjoy the sunshine (or be sheltered from the elements) on our three-season Patio. Our patio is also available for private events during business hours. We can happily accommodate your small party (10-20 people) during business hours on our three-season Patio or in our beautifully contemporary Lounge.

Ottawa, IL is home to The Lone Buffalo, our first restaurant and the home of our original craft brewery. It’s also home to our hops and barley farm, whose crop we use to create our authentic Farm to Foam beers. At the heart of the Lone Buffalo are the large twin copper brewing kettles, imported from Bavaria, and admired and enjoyed by fans far and wide.

An area once reserved solely for the practical application of aging beers, and on occasion for private beer dinners, we opened up this space for guests to host private events such as ceremonies, receptions, showers & rehearsal dinners. Located within DESTIHL Brewery, the Barrel Room is where you’ll find something unique. Our modern-industrial space is perfect for the craft beer experience, a place where you’ll be greeted with our warm hospitality, and an experience unlike any other in Central Illinois.

The Vault at Reserve Artisan Ales is Galesburg’s premier wedding and event venue. Located centrally between Peoria, Quad Cities, and Burlington. Visit one of Illinois' most unique and historic venues. Originally a 1950s car dealership the building boasts light from every direction through vast windows. Throughout the years the building has been home to local businesses providing service to Galesburg, Illinois, and the surrounding Knox County area. When plans for renovations came about the space was envisioned to be somewhere you can host any type of event. From weddings to class reunions, holiday parties, galas, and meetings for private use.
