Hi, I'm Candace and I have a thing for weddings! I didn't start as a wedding photographer, I actually started as a BIRTH photographer surprisingly! I was addicted to capturing real and raw moments for families to have and relive over and over. I actually was nervous for weddings, which is why I didn't start doing them. One thing led to another and as people started asking me if I WOULD shoot their wedding, I decided to give it a try. Fast-forward to dozens and dozens of weddings later and I am obsessed!! I am a full fledged wedding photographer and I LOVE capturing every single moment of your day. The addiction is real!!

I am a wedding and elopement photographer based out of Northern Colorado and Western Washington. In my free time I hike, eat lots of food and play with cat & dog. I find photography to be an amazing creative outlet and love using it as a way to connect with some amazing people.

I’m originally from New Mexico and have lived in 6 states so far, but recently my husband and I have moved to Arizona. I’m based in the greater Phoenix area but am always traveling around the state and U.S. for weddings! I’ve been married to my best friend, Cody, for 5 years now. I’ve been a professional photographer for about 4 years now. I’ve always had a passion for photography. Photography is my passion and it’s my full-time job.

We’re passionate about being picky! It’s only the most important day of your life. When all is over and you’ve gone home, you’ll forget the details and you’ll have the memories to keep with you forever. We create those moments and the capture them for you to share with generations to come. Our Wedding Photographers and Videographers only do Weddings, we use a timeline to ensure we never miss a shot and we guarantee you’ll like the end result or we will keep editing till you do.

The first time I picked up a camera was when I was about 12 years old, on a summer afternoon at my Nana's house. We spent the day digging through boxes filled with old family photographs. My Nana told me stories of her childhood and I got to relive those cherished moments with her. She explained to me that photos have a way of connecting us to our past and defining who we are and where we came from. She then gave me her old 35mm camera. That was the moment that ignited my love of photography and a desire to create timeless images. I love preserving moments that will last longer that our days on earth and be treasured by future loved ones.

You are adventurous, unique, & real in every way Your wedding photos should be too. I work with fun couples who are madly in love, each unique in their own way. I don't work with models... Which means, almost every couple I photograph is not experienced in front of the camera! I understand that "posing" doesn't feel natural for a majority of people, which is why I create an environment that prompts fun movements, natural laughter, and draws out your vulnerable emotions.
