I own a locally based floral studio in Snohomish County - servicing Washington state and beyond. We are excited to work with you to create high texture/unique custom flower arrangements. My name is Mariah and I love flowers. There, I said it. This dream began just a few short years ago when I was planning my own wedding, as a bride on a budget. I created the florals for my wedding without much real experience and discovered a genuine enjoyment of the design process. Since then, I’ve participated in real wedding workshops led by industry leaders to hone and polish my skills as well as connected with local suppliers to ensure I can provide you the best product for your event.

Wood & Word Blooms is run by a Jen Angle, former teacher of 20+ years and specializes in using hand-painted wood flowers along with a faux, dried and preserved florals (nothing fresh here) to bring your wedding vision to life not just for that one glorious day but forever. Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

As a special event florist my mission is to create original, quality, lasting keepsake florals, which reflect the beauty and eternal love that they help celebrate. Everything from first contact to completion is done solely through me. Yep, I’m a one-woman show. I love having personal interactions with all my clients and customers. Creating something truly unique for you is my greatest passion.
