The Highgate Manor and attached ballroom is a unique a historic property which has had social significance to the local community for over 200 years. Our venue is a place where every moment becomes a cherished part of history, where we create memories that last a lifetime.

We are a small resort just one mile north of Lake George Village. We have beautiful wooded ceremony site and a reception site right next to the ceremony site. We have unique rentals as well as one bedroom and two bedroom cabins to accommodate overnight guests!

Let our beautiful 400-acre farm be the backdrop to your picturesque Vermont wedding or event. Our raw venue site sits on the side of a mountain, looking back across our family farm’s valleys, fields, and mountains. The site is located on the mountain across from our farmhouse and the area was made to accommodate a large event tent, it is approximately a 60’x200’ area. In addition to our venue site, we also have multiple possible ceremony locations available. Our farm is only a short drive from beautiful Brattleboro, Vermont, allowing accessible lodging for any guests traveling to help you celebrate your special day. With the help of our local and trusted vendors, we can help you create your Vermont dream wedding with our beautiful family farm as your priceless backdrop. Welcome to Tanner Creek Farm, a historic 35-acre farm turned wedding and reception venue. We are located in DeKalb Junction, in the heart of the North Country Region of Upstate New York. We opened our farm for it’s first wedding in the summer of 2018, beginning with the marriage of our daughter. Kathy and John chased a dream to move to Vermont and start a farm, having had careers as science teachers in the Philadelphia area. Kathy had attended University of Vermont, fell in love with the state, and vowed to return one day. John left teaching to take his lifelong organic gardening passion to the next level. They looked at a number of farms across southern Vermont, and when they found the Farm at Williams River House, they knew they had found someplace really special – a front row view of Fox Chair Mountain, verdant green hayfields, timeless stone walls and split rail fences, and a stately home dating back to the time of our nation’s founding! They were home, and they wanted to share this magical and romantic space with others.
