Words cannot express how happy I am to have worked with Sara on my wedding florals. From Day 1 she supported my vision and helped me select specific flowers/decor pieces. She was communicative and fun to work with. When my wedding was postponed due to COVID, she went to far as to go into the studio to make me a beautiful bouquet and boutonnière in our wedding colors! If you want an easy, fun experience with someone who understands your likes/dislikes and brings your vision to life this is the florist for you!

Rachel was amazing to work with! My wedding florals were by far my favorite part. She created some amazing pieces. Aside from my huge and beautiful bouquet, she put together a floral purse for my sister, elegant bridesmaids bouquets, a spectacular baby's breath chandelier, and more! Everything was even better than I could have imagined and I wish I could have kept them forever.

New Leaf Florals

5.0

Plainville, CT

The first day I worked in floral design, I knew I was home. It quickly became my passion, inspiration, and outlet and has allowed me to bring so much added beauty to people’s favorite days! It’s all in the details and as overwhelming as it may be, that’s where I find solace! Working as a partner and team mate to my clients, I find, creates the best experience to fit everyone’s needs, keeping the quality of product and experience! With that being said, let’s get to work!

I can’t even begin to describe how perfect of a job Taylor did! Her patience with me during the process and the time she took to send details over meant the world to us. We loved the results and couldn’t have been happier with the final product.

      5.0

      Milford, CT
      • Starts at $3,000
      • Serves Farmington, CT

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

I believe flowers are one of the toughest vendors to decide. You really don’t know what you are going to get. Kate picked out the absolute most beautiful flowers and made my bouquet EXACTLY what I visioned. I was very nervous getting flowers in January, but Kate nailed it. I would highly recommend her for your floral needs. My flower girl had a flower crown and it was the cutest thing. Kate made my flower decisions very easy. Her constant communication made me even more happy with the choices I made. Thank you Kate! XO

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

      5.0

      Oklahoma City, OK
      • Serves Farmington, CT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

      Awarded Best of Zola
I have always known I wanted lots of colorful flowers in my wedding. I LOVE flowers. However, I didn’t realize how expensive they were. I had a unique package created with flower moxie and was able to save thousands of dollars while getting the flowers I dreamt of! Putting together my flowers will always be one of the most memorable parts of my wedding as is was so fun. Flower moxie made it so easy to get what I needed and contact them with any questions or issues. They were also so kind and accommodating. If you love to DIY and you love flowers, you will love Flower Moxie!

      • Starts at $250
      • Serves Farmington, CT

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

We literally could not have been happier with our decision to rent from SBB! When I opened the boxes, I was so impressed with how real they looked, felt, and smelled. Everyone was shocked they were fake! Even the candles had a wax feel to them with flickering to mimic a real flame. Renting from SBB also saved us literally thousands of dollars on florals and rentals while still giving us the look we wanted. Additionally, it was so easy to receive and ship them back. Here are the items we rented: 1 Olivia Garden Cut Bridal Bouquet 6 Nina Bridesmaids Bouquets 1 Olivia Garland 1 Nina Garland 2 Nina Large Centerpieces 1 Set of Small Cane Lanterns 1 Set of Medium Cane Lanterns 1 Set of Large Cane Lanterns 3 Nina Dog Collars 2 Sets of Copper Glass Votives 6 Sets of Burnt Copper Candlesticks For our ceremony, I used the Olivia and Nina Garland to decorate our arch then we moved this to the Sweetheart table for our Reception along with several candlesticks and votives. For the reception, we had 2 tables with the Nina Large Centerpiece and several votive candles. 2 Tables had 1 small cane lantern, 1 medium cane lantern, and 1 large cane lantern and we tied the dog collars around the medium size cane lantern to add some florals. Then for 6 of our tables, we repurposed the bridesmaids bouquets in various vases along with several candlesticks and votives.

We loved working with Sarah at poppy flowers. Honestly, flowers were not a priority for us so it helped that Sarah did all of the heavy lifting for us! We had one meeting with her and didn’t have to worry about anything else. And the flowers were absolutely stunning. They matched our preferences to a tee!! My only problem is I did not get my flowers in time for my family portraits. But I sure if that is the fault of the florist or the coordinator! Overall, would definitely recommend

      • Starts at $175
      • Serves Farmington, CT

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

      Awarded Best of Zola
I was wanting some pretty unique color combinations, and they worked with me so well! They helped me come up with some ideas while also making sure that everything I wanted was in my flower arrangements. I had a flower crown, bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces. They were all beautiful, they all came quickly, and were stored properly.
