The property boasts 1200 acres of row crop, cattle, and newly added blueberry farmland. Throughout the year you will see the farmers tending to the fields and as they prepare for harvest. Harvest season is particularly special to witness. The farmers harvest vast acres with little to no waste. Life on our working farm is spectacularly beautiful year-round. Depending on the year and season the ever-changing fields make our farm a sight to behold.

We had a wonderful ceremony and reception here. The atmosphere was magical and was a beautiful backdrop for all our pictures. The food is always delicious whether it’s the catering or a meal at the restaurant. They also have vintage rooms for all the guests to stay in. Having everything in one place made for a less stressful experience.

Loblolly Farm is a special events center with unique structures and landscapes, suitable for numerous events. Over four decades ago, owner Dulari Smith’s father bought Loblolly Farm in Semmes, Alabama. This sprawling, 400-acre property is named after its primary crop; the Loblolly Pine. The land surrounding the alfresco venue park is blanketed with healthy groves of trees creating a tranquil country setting. Over the years the land went through various transformations and now, due to their extraordinary vision, the event venue was created. Loblolly Farm is truly an escape from the noisy city streets, tall buildings and crowds that many other venues must contend with.

Hands down the best venue to host any event!! The land is so beautiful and there are soooo many places to take photos!! The owner and staff are AMAZING to work with! Forever lining my choice to pick them to host our wedding!

The Cedars is an event venue and vacation home rental that is part of a working cattle farm. Built in 1890 in the Greek Revival Farmhouse style, it still sits in its original location today. Early in 2019, the restoration of the original Nathan Bryan Whitfield, Sr. home began with the vision to return the historic farm home to a public place for sharing its beauty, family history and its agricultural significance with the community and others.By 1890, Dr. Whitfield’s son, Nathan built The Cedars, naming it for a grove of cedar trees that grew between the home and the road, which is now U.S. Highway 80. In April of 2009, Alabama Governor, Bob Riley, and Commissioner of Agriculture, Ron Sparks, designated The Cedars as an Alabama Century Farm. Being recognized as a Century Farm means that the farm has been in operation as a family farm for over 100 years and has played a significant role in Alabama’s history.
