Jason Snorlax Photography

5.0

Norwalk, CA
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Fullerton, CA

Jason "Snorlax" Cun is an all around photographer that currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He was raised in the heart of Los Angeles, where he found his calling in photography. He aims to capture the beauty of the world and the people in them. He has recently begun his travels around the U.S capturing the life of those within that city.

I met Jason at a conference and learned that he does photography. When years later I got married, I remembered how intrigued I was with how photography style and the gorgeous landscape shots he would take. I asked him to fly out from California to shoot my wedding in North Carolina. He is kind, prompt, responsive to messages, and accommodated me on my wedding day. He made me feel comfortable and had fun ideas for shots of my wedding party. I would recommend Jason to anyone who needs a professional photographer for their event! Jason is one of a kind!

I don't even know where to begin! I knew Simone was our number one choice from the first time I looked at his website. His photos are beautiful, adventurous, and somehow classic AND edgy. Simone was so quick to respond to my initial inquiry and we were able to meet up in person that same week and for us there was no looking back. Our experience with Simone was nothing short of perfect and we truly felt like we not only had a great photographer but a great friend, throughout the whole process. Planning a wedding can be stressful but Simone made the engagement and wedding photo experience so easy and fun for us and we are SO happy with our photos- both engagement and wedding photos. We can't recommend Mastrosimo Photography enough. Thank you!!!!

Allen Tsai

5.0

Dallas, TX
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $13,000
  • Serves Fullerton, CA

Allen Tsai founded his namesake photography business in 2011, turning his passion for the art of photography and documenting poignant memories into a business. While he is based in Dallas, TX, he has covered destination weddings all over the world including Mexico, Caribbeans, Europe, and Asia. He brings a warm personality and professional spirit to his work with an airy, romantic, and dreamy aesthetic. If you’re looking for a rare balance of technical, aesthetic, and emotional skills in a photographer, you will find it in Tsai.

We are fortunate to have worked with Allen enough times to confidently recommend him as a fine art photographer (and a travel companion!). Our sessions span the entire globe; from our wedding in Los Cabos to the Sahara Desert! There is a certain essence and characteristic about Allen's work that kept us returning to his website and social media accounts. Before we knew it, Allen's portfolio ultimately became what we referenced other portfolios to which made him the obvious choice. And we can confidently say his portfolio reflects his true work. Our photos were nothing short of the quality he exemplifies across social media. Technical skills: In the business of fine art photography, we believe it is important to state that Allen is FILM PHOTOGRAPHER before he is a digital photographer. The reason we emphasize this is because we have used other "film photographers" who rely heavily on results from their digital camera and thus delivering an album high in digital shots. The albums we receive from Allen taught us to truly appreciate film photography. Allen's work has an essence of airiness. He is a master in working with light and shots are always in focus. He produces reliable and consistent results with a predictable high success rate (difficult for film photography). Other film photographers shoot a high number of shots with low yield results. Allen's style is tasteful and he pays great attention to detail. Allen also has a great relationship with the lab he uses to develop the pictures which is often overlooked. It seems like the lab has a deep understanding of Allen's aesthetics which translates well in his final product. As a wedding photographer: Allen's work ethics and level of care was much appreciated during the stressful process of planning a wedding. All of our wedding vendors mentioned how Allen is a team player and is someone they could rely on. We were confident in Allen's skills and level of work after he shot our engagement photos as part of the wedding package we booked. Not having to constantly worry about one of the most important parts of our wedding is priceless. Allen is professional, always on time, and makes sure we get caught up if we run behind on schedule. He was able to overcome unexpected obstacles and dealt with incorporative family members. Allen effectively communicated our vision to the other vendors. He is an excellent listener and fulfills all of our wants and needs. For couples looking to tie the knot locally, Allen is very familiar with all the top Dallas locations and perfect lighting depending on the time of day. People know him and are willing to take you more seriously as a client if they know you are working with him. Ultimately, all we need to say is we cannot book any other photographer. Much like his portfolio, the experience of having Allen as our photographer is the gold standard to which we compare other photographers to. It is always reassuring when pictures of our special day is still being shared and featured on social media two years later. Allen's work is truly timeless and the album service he offers does his pictures justice! We loved the array of options and how the finished product turned out.

Hi! Im Britt (Rene is my middle name, named after my late cuban grandfather). I started off my photography journey with film—my grandfather, Harold, gifted me my first camera in grade school. In high school I hit the darkroom for the first time and i was sold. 10 years running my business and i still love traveling the world, capturing love stories. I am so freakin' grateful.

Awarded Best of Zola
I could not speak any higher of Britt, her vision, friendliness, creativity, and overall energy! We clicked immediately and we felt so comfortable working together. By the end of our shoot, I felt like she was a friend. Her photos are beyond stunning and the photos she took of my wedding ending up being published in Martha Stewart! She is that good! I love the way she plays with light to give a natural but glowy aesthetic to her photography. I could go on and on, and I PROMISE you will not be disappointed!

Kristina Lee Photography

5.0

Long Beach, CA
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $3,700
  • Serves Fullerton, CA

Born in the desert (AZ Baby!) and relocated to the sea. I firmly believe that a good day starts with a cup of coffee and ends with glass of red wine. I own more jewelry than I do clothes and in my opinion, too much gold does not exist. My biggest passion will always be photography. I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a little girl – I would even set up “stylized shoots” in my family’s living room that consisted of sheets pinned to the wall, my friends and fake flowers (embarrassing, but I’m not kidding!). I strive for those editorial, Vogue-like shots, but I really live for those private, in-between moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
I was referred to Kristina by my wedding venue's coordinator. I was having a destination wedding at a private estate and she had shot several weddings and shoots there before. Knowing that she knew the venue and seeing her work, I knew she was a top contender. Having great quality photos was hugely important to me, and that was something I wasn't willing to sacrifice quality on. Her style was exactly what I wanted—natural, soft, minimally edited, and not overly posed. However, a good wedding photographer is an investment, so I wanted to meet with her first. Luckily, she lives in the same town as I do, so I didn't have to travel to the destination to meet her. When I joined her for a glass of wine, we instantly clicked and I was immediately a YES. Before my husband would sign on the dotted line, he wanted to meet her as well. We met for a 2nd time, all three of us, and he also loved her right away. Having that connection to a photographer is SO important to make you feel comfortable throughout the event and truly trust them (photos are awkward, right?). The day could not have run more smoothly, thanks in large part to Kristina. She made taking photos fun for everyone and our bridal party also fell in love with her. Aside from being fun and personable, she was professional and kept us on a tight timeline. She also made sure we fit everything in on my wishlist: first look, first look with my dad, bridal party photos, family photos, table photos, dancing, the hora...didn't miss ANYTHING. I'm so in love with my photos from that day and so happy to have those lifelong memories. Since then, she's become a great friend. Anytime I want photos taken for a life event, I will ONLY use her. She's taken family holiday photos, photos of my pups, professional photos for my husband, and I will keep using only her for family photos in the future.
