DigitalFirst Photography was started in 2006 while I was in college. I always loved cameras and movies, but never really knew where to begin. So, I bought a camera and just started taking photos of whatever I could. One wedding turned into two, which turned into four, and so on and so forth. Hi, I’m Yelitza (Je-lit-sa ... don't worry! I got you). I’m a photographer, wife, nurse, fur-mom of three, new avid hiker, and a pretty darn good baker; and I’m here (dramatic pause) to tell your story. I found photography my freshman year of high school (I needed some credits in a pinch and this was it), three days in class and I was in love. Fast forward a few year (hey! hey! not too many years... Watch it! lol) and I'm still just as in love as that third day.

A former newspaper photographer & editor, I truly love to capture authentic moments as they happen - commonly known as lifestyle photography. Hi! I'm Meghan. I've had a love for photography since my parents bought me my first camera for Christmas in 2001. I took pictures of anyone and anything that sat still for more than .03 seconds. The more pictures I took, the more I loved it. It became a passion of mine, but it wasn't until later that I had the dream of starting my own business. In the meantime, I teach middle school - 7th grade Language Arts to be exact. Yes, it's exactly as crazy as you're imagining, likely even more so. Teaching has taught me two things: patience and how to laugh at myself.
