The Pictures Band was started as a family band when they were still children. Robin (guitar), and Byron (drums) started the band when they were only 10 and 11 and have been performing ever since. They have performed around the world for our troops, performed for celebrity weddings and many notables such as American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, SPCA, Exxon, Super Bowl Party, and other fundraisers. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

I love making the wedding a special event for the couple. My job is the dancefloor. I rate myself based on how many people stayed on the dancefloor and for how long. My clients will tell you that people stay on the dancefloor most of the night on my events. Because I do a lot of homework before every event in preparing all the music they selected. Making sure it can please all the generations, and which songs could I sing myself. I'm passionate about making your day the wildest party imaginable!

I love sharing the joy of music with others! I help couples create an ambience of romance, celebration, and love with instrumental guitar music and arrangements of familiar songs. As a musician, I've travelled and performed with bands, orchestras and theater productions, taught middle and high school music, and composed music for media. I'm originally from St. Louis, MO and moved to Austin in 2012. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, being active, reading and designing and making things.
