I have been a photographer for 8 years. Throughout my time as a photographer I’ve captured clothing, models, and memories. I shifted from corporate shootings to families and weddings because it gave me this warm fuzzy feeling when I edited my couples and families photos. My wife and I are photographers based in Mississippi, but travel everywhere! Our style is somewhat warm/moody, not dark, not bright and airy. Strata Weddings was born out of a deep love for storytelling and a desire to make your wedding day unforgettable. Established as a national company, we have had the privilege of documenting countless love stories from coast to coast. Our journey began with a simple belief that every love story is unique and deserves to be told with authenticity and creativity.

I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world! All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camcorder or camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera + tons of film. I documented everything. When film turned into digital, that was a turning point in my life. Since then, my memories, large + small, have been organized on my computer, by year. So I can go back + revisit so many wonderful memories from my life...most which I wouldn't remember without pictures!

For as long as I can remember I have always loved to create. My passion for photography started when I was a teen. As I honed in on my craft I began to photograph on a more professional level right out of high school, but stepped away for academic pursuits. After completing both a bachelors and master's degree in Anthropology, I came full circle, determining that a career in doing something creative was where my heart lies. Whether it is your wedding, or any other special moment in your life, I cherish the opportunity to document it in a way that highlights the artistic elements, while still capturing an authenticness that is uniquely you.
