I am a professionally trained vocalist with over 10 years of experience in planning, directing, and performing liturgical services and wedding ceremonies, as well as performing at social events, wineries, coffee houses, and the like. While I am a vocalist and music director by trade, I have a network of pianists, other singers, and other instrumentalists with whom I frequently work.

The Downtown Collective Band was established in 2016 as just a couple of guys who wanted to jam out in the attic. We got some small gigs here and there doing hybrid DJ/live music performances. Then we found friends from music school/work that played instruments and made the jam bigger and got more gigs. Now we are known as one of the top bands in the Midwest. The Man Cubs LOVE Disney music. ​ In 2017, the band members of Compass & Cavern and Creature Canopy joined forces and spent hundreds of hours listening to, transcribing, and practicing Disney songs to perform at a one-time show in Denver. Naturally, it was the time of their lives. Now, The Man Cubs perform alternative rock / pop punk versions of Disney mega-hits as a five-piece band. The group plays at all types of events, including themed parties, corporate fundraisers, and music festivals. Although based in Denver, The Man Cubs are happy to travel and take the Disney set on the road.

I absolutely enjoy what I do, I've been providing solid high quality entertainment to couples all over the state of Iowa for almost 40 years! I started my DJ career in 1984 in Davenport Iowa, at that time I was using two turntables and had to haul big heavy crates of LPs with me. Now I use 2 specifically dedicated laptop computers that hold nearly 100,000 songs, wow isn't technology great!
