DJ 6th Sense is a native of New Orleans, LA. He has always had a passion for music that feeds the soul since birth. His earliest memories of deep musical inspiration were riding around with his uncle on Sundays, while listening to old school music. 6th Sense served in the USN for 10 years where he was blessed with the luxury of hearing a variety of different styles of music from different places, which translates to his unique spin on being an open-format DJ. A true fan of cultural diversity, 6th Sense sets shine when in his preferred gumbo melting pot-type environments, where his musical selections can reach out to all the people at once.

Kind of like a gumbo – a little of this, a little of that all mixed together with some spice and some heat – an old favorite recipe with some new twists that keeps ‘em coming back for seconds every time. Contrary to how the name may sound, the group is a six-piece party band featuring excellent musicians who are all seasoned professionals. Old and new rock ‘n roll classics, funk, Motown, dance party favorites, sing-alongs, hits from today and the always delicious slow-dance staples. We even mix in some hanky-wavin’ Mardi Gras tunes to get our audience all stirred up and on the dance floor.
