Jess Desserts is a one woman show at the moment. I’ve had ten years experience doing weddings through different jobs, and started my own business in 2018. I will work with you to customize your wedding desserts and make sure your set up is best for you.

We’re a gourmet bakery that specializes in Cinnamon rolls as well as other baked and non-baked treats. All of our items are plant based (no dairy or egg) and made from scratch in our kitchen at the bakery. We are a husband and wife team that loves working together! I got my start many years ago when I was living back home in Chicago, at a cute little bakery, that I still visit to this day! I went back and forth between working in graphic design to cooking and baking. I started working in the bakery at The Hotel at Kirkwood Center as a part-time line cook in 2013 and in 2015 a became their in-house cake designer. In 2019 I decided to leave my position at the hotel and opened Sugar Flower Cake Design. I was diagnosed with celiac in 2019, and since then I have been on a mission to create delicious gluten (and sometimes dairy) free options for all occasions. Not only are my treat super tasty, I also have a passion for making beautiful baked goods that that are on par with every other bakery.

We began as a concession company providing cotton candy at sporting events. In the fall of 2021, we extended our brand by starting our own manufacturing plant. Sweet Buckets was born as an option for customers and businesses to purchase Cotton Candy and Gourmet popcorns direct from our company.
