Almquist Farm is a fifth generation family farm homesteaded by Charles Almquist after he immigrated from Sweden in 1890. Our 75 acres of rolling hills and oak trees provide a spacious setting for a one location all day wedding celebration. From the moment you pass through the palatial gated entrance onto the private drive, you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped off a plane and are no longer just minutes from the hustle and noise of Minneapolis. Lush, rolling hills beside meadows rich with wildflowers give way to acres of noble oak tree groves. Beyond the enchanting half mile drive through the canopy of the stately oaks, the meticulously manicured rose gardens emerge; and tucked in quiet opulence, before its own private lake, lies The Edward Anne Estate.

The St. James Hotel is an official historic Minnesota wedding venue in the heart of downtown Red Wing, Minnesota. Nestled between the picturesque backdrop of the Mississippi River and Minnesota/Wisconsin countryside, the St. James is made up of five charming venues that can accommodate up to 240 wedding guests. As an all-inclusive venue, services include a dedicated Wedding Specialist, a pastry shop, ceremony and reception spaces, ready rooms, catering, room blocks for hotel events, and an on-site salon and a flower shop. The St. James is a boutique hotel with 67 Victorian styled guestrooms, an on-site restaurant and cocktail lounge.

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

1924 tutor style granite and slate roof house next to the Mississippi River. Its hosts a tiny home free of charge with an event booking for use of the bride and groom to stay at after the ceremony. It hosts up to 75 guests. Parking is next door at St. Cloud State. The porch can be used in bad weather. This is considered a micro wedding. 2-3 hours max. In and out. No reception. Just the ceremony. If the groom bride want to book the 4 rooms over night they need to book it through Airbnb or pay out of pocket. Again, this is not a wedding reception, only a wedding ceremony and accommodations for up to 10 can stay. Room D holds 2 guests. Room C is the family suite 4 guests. Room B holds 2 and the cabin holds 2.

The Capitol Room is located in the newly renovated historic armory of Saint Peter, Minnesota built-in 1913. The main ballroom is resplendent with over twenty chandeliers and hundreds of twinkling Edison bulbs all under a beautiful original wooden barrel-vaulted ceiling. Complimented by a backdrop of exposed brick and plaster. We have amazing suites for both the bride, groom, and bridal party. These suites have been carefully curated with a mix of modern and vintage furniture and the walls are covered with funky art that is flirtatious and nostalgic.

The Lowell Inn, located in the heart of historic downtown Stillwater, MN is just steps from unique shopping, attractions and the scenic St. Croix River. Established in 1927 and on the National Historic Register, the Lowell Inn offers 23 beautifully restored, private romantic guest rooms featuring today’s amenities, and 12 contemporary rooms in the new annex. The Lowell Inn also features a banquet hall as well as event rooms for smaller events.

For centuries, the beauty and natural treasures of the St. Croix Valley have drawn people to the area which is now Stillwater. The first to call this area home were the Sioux and Chippewa Nations. Later, the first traders and trappers in Minnesota Territory settled here. By the mid 1880’s, railroading and river activity helped build the community into a bustling town of 13,000 people. Stillwater became the trade center for miners and trappers to the North, and farmers and lumbermen to the West. The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad eventually saw a need for a freight depot. In 1979, the historical significance of the building was recognized and the Freight House became the first building in Stillwater to be placed on the National Registry of Historic Places.

Founded in 1968, more than 12.5 million guests have reveled in the “Chanhassen Experience” and it remains the largest professional dinner theatre in the nation. The Grand Banquet Hall is located just a couple blocks from the St. Croix River in historic downtown Stillwater, MN! Originally a part of the logging days that Stillwater was established for. Our ballroom features beautiful stained glass décor, space for up to 350 guests, a generous dance floor and a long stunning antique bar.
