After our initial phone call, we loved how friendly and collaborative he was about putting together the right feel for our ceremony as well as reception - he had a fabulous planning doc we used throughout the months leading up the event with several of our other vendors that helped tie everything together, thanks to Kelton. He also offered the best add-on of lights and photobooth that we could hope for that suited our budget and crossed off having to find additional vendors for twice the cost. His setup and takedown was seamless and he was super self-sufficient throughout the event which made all the day-of-coordination smooth and our coordinator spoke highly of him and his team as well. Most importantly - he kept our guests dancing and enjoying all night long, timed our ceremony music exactly as we wanted, and MC'ed the speeches with everyone's names and relationships to us pronounced (we are from South American and Indian families so that meant a lot to us) and phrased just as we'd hoped & planned for. We also reached out about 3 months after the event to see if we could get our photobooth photos sent to us to have a copy in addition to those guests printed out and he was able to help us right away. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. I have to admit, my husband and I were skeptical about having a DJ at our wedding because we had a very small party (about 40 people) and were nervous about how much people would dance. However, after meeting with Ben we were really impressed with how much care was taken with each step of the day. We had an officiant and he was able to equip her with a microphone and played the procession music. We used the gift card to assist us in adding a guitar player for cocktail hour (huge hit and really beautiful). Once the speeches were over, Ben took over and literally everyone was up dancing for the rest of the night. We got SO MANY compliments on that portion of the evening. I am not even a big dancer at weddings and I couldn't stop. He made our night great. Not to mention, he kept checking in on us and asking if we were good. The sweetest. Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. We hired "THC" back in 2019 when we were engaged and sadly the pandemic had changed our plans. Even in February, 2021, our wedding was still restricted.
