Whenever I was a young girl there was never a time that I did not have a camera in my hand. I have always had the desire to capture exciting memories with my friends and loved ones. In college I got my first camrea, and I started taking pictures of literately everything haha. Someone suggested that I should start charging people and make it into a business. The whole idea scared me, and it actually took years for me to finish school and get married before I could really dive into making it a business. I was introduced to the world of photography the same week I was introduced to the world! All thanks to my Dad, who was never without his camcorder or camera. Because of him, our memories growing up are preserved. Then I got my first camera + tons of film. I documented everything. When film turned into digital, that was a turning point in my life. Since then, my memories, large + small, have been organized on my computer, by year. So I can go back + revisit so many wonderful memories from my life...most which I wouldn't remember without pictures!

For as long as I can remember I have always loved to create. My passion for photography started when I was a teen. As I honed in on my craft I began to photograph on a more professional level right out of high school, but stepped away for academic pursuits. After completing both a bachelors and master's degree in Anthropology, I came full circle, determining that a career in doing something creative was where my heart lies. I moved around a lot growing up and I can remember not always loving it. But now, truly grateful for how it's shaped me. My husband was the exact opposite.
