“If you are looking for a fun, energetic, engaging, charismatic DJ, look no further. Shane is the one and only DJ you need on your list. When I first started looking for a DJ, I did not know what to look for. Obviously, good reviews but who knew there was so much else to consider, like type of vibe you want for your wedding/reception, type of music you want played for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. How much MCing there will be or will not be, someone who will listen to your every request. Shane checked off every, single, box. When Shane and I initially got in contact, we had a 45-minute phone consultation about the wants and needs of what my husband and I were looking for our reception. Shane new exactly the type of vibe we were looking for and was on the same page when it came to music choices for cocktail hour vs reception. He asked for us to send him 5 songs that we would want played at the reception during dance hours and he put a mix together with the songs so we could listen to how he transitioned them and kept the party flow going. We were immediately impressed and signed the contract with him the same day. Fast forward to a week or so before the reception, Shane sent us some forms to fill out with questions, must have songs and do not play song requests. When we met him at the reception venue on wedding day, he was there over an hour early to start setting up and when he was done putting all the equipment together, he changed into wedding attire to fit the dress code. Cocktail hour was soon underway, and Shane got the mood going with the music we asked for. Meanwhile, he walked around and got to know our guests, had a couple of appetizers, a beverage here and there, he even took some amazing video of the bride and groom (he should be a videographer on the side). We loved that he blended in and enjoyed himself, he got along with our friends and family as if he had been a lifelong friend. Once cocktail hour ended, Shane was there to keep our timeline moving with our first dance, mother and son dance, father and daughter dance, and we had a video we wanted played so he made sure to help set up the projector and connect to his sound system to ensure the whole crowd could hear. Shane did not miss a beat of what we needed all night long. He played all our must play songs and was sure to not play any of the songs on our do not play list. He kept the dance floor PACKED all night long, he even played 20 minutes after we were supposed to wrap up because so many people were having such a great time. I got compliments all night long from friends and family at how great the playlist of music was and how easy it was to stay on the dance floor the way Shane mixes his beats. We wanted a party and Shane delivered. We cannot thank Shane enough for providing us with an unforgettable evening.”

The hotel really didn’t nail timing so josh Took complete control of the wedding and saved it truly. He made sure my cake cutting and first dance were memorable because the hotel slipped with this. Nothing like a DJ who saves the day too. The best part of it all while DJing Josh found time to take so many photos. He wasn’t asked or required to do so. “DO NOT HESITATE to book The Hook Club! Words cannot express how incredible their performance was... you had to be there. We had many musicians in the crowd who were blown away with the talent on the stage. Not only did they display excellent musicianship, but their energy was unparalleled. They got the crowd on their feet over and over again, myself and my blisters included. The main singers came out into the dance floor during the bangers, which our guests loved. Each singer had a repertoire that perfectly suited their talents, and we loved how they exploited that. It was really fun to see them indulging in off-the-charts vocalizing. (And also rapping that had me shook!) We truly felt like they were having as great a time as we were. Jesse served as an excellent MC, introducing our toasts in a humorous and timely manner. Our communication was great, including on the spot decisions (we asked for an extra 15 minute break during dinner, because when they were playing, no one could stop dancing!). Jesse was calm, professional, and light-hearted. I was very impressed by how he carried himself. The planning process we used was thorough and simple, including only two zoom meetings. The Hook Club has tons of songs to choose from, and can probably learn anything you throw their way. Another huge bonus of The Hook Club is that they have so many members, so they can cobble a group together that best suits your desires. Again, I cannot recommend this group highly enough. I feel like they truly made the night, and we are indebted to them! Many guests said it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding! “Brides, grooms, everyone, hire this company as your DJ, photo booth, and uplighting provider! We were lucky enough to lock them down pre pandemic for our original date (10/10/20) and they were gracious enough to reschedule our contract to our new date (10/10/21) without any difficulty! Sheila was always prompt, warm, and professional, answering our occasional emails over the past 2 years, even in a pandemic! Our DJ, Craig, was the absolute man! We gave him a list of 10 very different must play songs and he delivered! He had the dance floor crowded the whole night and did a wonderful job working with us to choose a play list that would appeal to our entire wedding guest list. Our photo booth was priceless and was a huge hit. The uplighting was so cool and was well worth the cash! Long story short- don’t hesitate to book this company! It’s hard to find a DJ who was as cool and skillful as DJ Craig!”
