I was born and raised in Paris, France and came to the U.S. in 2011 to go to college. I met my husband there and we are now raising an amazing little boy and our two dogs. My mom and grandma used to take me to all the museums, expositions, plays, etc. They made me fall in love with art. I started to paint and sculpt when I was 10. Having a fascination with the realm of plants and their healing powers, Sophia surrounds herself with botanicals and their many elements. The concept of floral design as a living, restorative, art form gave her a deep respect for flowers and their unique personality. Their nature of fragility adds to their elusiveness, and gives her the opportunity to exhibit the never-to-be-replicated side of her personality every time she works with floral product.
