The Deets: I finally reached out to Kris about a month before my wedding and I was just a total wreck. There were too many moving parts, too many emails, too many things to follow up on and just NO time between work and life to handle it all. Kris calmly talked me through things to figure out where I was at, what my vision was and what was left to do. I really would not have gotten through that last month, or even the day of, without her. She took over setup of my DIY photo booth and this balcony space I just didn't know what to do with. Kris made that space and photo booth such an oasis, just what I wanted! Her inventory of props and creative experience created such a fun glow-up and relieved such a big burden from my shoulders. Kris is organized, communicative and just so much fun to talk to. She took charge of my vendors and communicated with my venue seamlessly. She worked hand-in-hand with the venue coordinator on such short notice and I really, really can't thank her enough. Where do I begin, working with Rebecca and RS Events as my day of coordinator was one of the BEST decisions I made! From the moment I reached out to Rebecca, she was quick to respond and set up a call early on to explain her services and understand what my needs were. First and foremost, she is so friendly, warm, kind, and patient. She put this anxious and frazzled bride at ease from the first call! After speaking with her, I knew I needed her on my team, and boy was I right. Throughout the year-long process, she kept in contact and kept me on track. She was EXTREMELY organized and it made me so happy and less stressed. She created this amazing Google Drive folder where everything wedding (various questionnaires and checklists) was uploaded. Fast forward to our wedding week which was a disaster for us filled with family medical emergencies and more chaos, but through it all Rebecca guided us calmly. Rebecca was truly my boots-on-the-ground and right-hand woman. She had EVERYTHING running smoothly and on time. She made sure the venues knew what I wanted and most importantly where and made my vision spring to life. The day of the wedding she was so comforting, thoughtful, and kind. She understood that having a parent in the hospital was awful on your wedding but she was determined to make sure our show went on! She made me feel like everything was going to be okay when my world was falling apart. Not sure why I was surprised, but there wasn’t a thing Rebecca didn’t have in her go bag. It felt like a scene from Mary Poppins or Harry Potter haha. She had me covered with everything. Anytime I opened my mouth to say I forgot something she already had me covered. Rebecca was the glue that kept our wedding together. She navigated guests and answered all of the questions that I had no energy to answer. She did it all. Though I wish my dad had been able to join us, our wedding was still beyond perfect thanks to Rebecca and her team at RS Events. A surprise to no one, planning a wedding is a lot of work. While I planned the entire wedding myself, I can say unequivocally the best thing I ever did during this process was hire a day of coordinator. Make room in your budget for one. I promise you won't regret it. Now, my venue required that I get a day of coordinator and it was absolutely the right decision. I literally cannot imagine my wedding without someone there to help and guide the day. Getting married is A LOT. It is exhausting and it is thrilling. I had no time to think about anything and I didn't want to rely on family or friends to take time from enjoying the day with me to deal with anything at the wedding either. Onto The Day Of Company. I got their base package, which worked great. First, while the name implies they are only working on the day, the company does a lot more than that. They are there for you in the handful of months leading up to your wedding to answer any questions or assist in your planning process. But in the weeks leading up to the wedding is where this company was a lifeline. They are on hand to wrangle vendors, advise on details, arrange timelines, etc. They really were needed in the end to help me get to the finish line. Then, on the wedding day, my coordinator, Jennifer, was just wonderful. She was imperative to making sure not only did the day run smoothly, but that my vision was fully realized. She helped with everything and I mean everything -- she even ran around to find a pocket square for my husband on the morning of the wedding! I couldn't be more grateful for her patience, effort, and professionalism. Again, hire a day of coordinator and, in particular, The Day Of Company. It will be the best decision you make as you plan your wedding.

You never truly understand the value of a wedding planner/coordinator until after the wedding. I am SOOOO happy I had Greta and her team help us out with your special day. I would always hear how the wedding day is so stressful and that you don’t get to actually enjoy it, that you don’t even get to eat, as you have to make sure everything goes as planned and cater to all of your guests. I am SO happy to say I did not feel any of that! My husband and I got to relax and we had so much fun because she was there to do all that for us. Greta and her team planned every single detail of the wedding day for me. She had a very detailed timeline and was with us at every moment of the event. She made sure everything ran smoothly and as planned. I know not everyone can afford a wedding planner, but you should AT LEAST hire a wedding coordinator. I was so clueless going into this… There are so many little details we had no idea about. Greta helped us with inspiration ideas, with vendor recommendations(which again- they were the best of the best and that just made everything so much better. We had absolutely no issues with any of the vendors because she knew who to recommend) she helped with the timeline, with the decorations… literally everything. My wedding wouldn’t have been what it was if it wasn’t for her, as she was the brains behind the entire event. Greta is so good at what she does!! She was able to figure out my style and what I like on our first meeting. She’s literally the best of the best! You don’t regret working with her. Trust me, you’ll thank me later!!

Taking all things into consideration: our jobs, vision, not wanting to put added stress on our friends and family day of, a coordinator is an extension of you to the venue. Perona Farms appreciated their detailed timeline and went to her team vs. us. We classified it like buying a house: there’s a seller’s agent and buyer’s agent for a reason. I’m not a DIY bride and knew most of who we wanted to work with, Belinda made it happen. From contract negotiations, invitation mail outs, printing, picking up and dropping off signage, details like having an extra team member at the hotel to make sure guests got on the right shuttle was MAJOR. I had a dedicated girl from her team with me the entire day, making sure I stayed hydrated, managed tipping envelopes, reapplied my lipstick, PICKED OUT LANTERN FLYS THAT GOT STUCK IN MY DRESS during pics, and helped me in the bathroom. They were all rockstars and we can’t thank them enough!

She was always just a text or call away, and she never made me feel like she was rushing me if I had any questions or concerns or wanted to flesh out the details of a certain issue. She was always patient, level-headed, receptive to criticism, and willing to discuss any issue whatsoever. The communication overall pre-wedding was very on-point. Secondly, Natalie's talent for designing and creating a timeless beautiful aesthetic is second to none. Her taste is impeccable, she has an attention to detail that you will deeply respect, and she will help you create a cohesive design element that will have you and your guests blown away. From the ceremony design all the way down to the drapes and the cutlery, Natalie has a keen eye for creating a gorgeous yet comfortable/welcoming design. Everything she does is tasteful and creates that special atmosphere that makes a wedding so unforgettable and emotional. She will definitely help bring your vision to life, and if you're not really interested in coming up with a design element for your wedding or don't know much about it, just know that you're in amazing hands with Natalie. Lastly, I just want to comment on Natalie's work ethic and dedication. We met with Nicole about 2 months out from our wedding. We were so impressed by her organization! She created an almost minute-by-minute timeline for the day and was the point of contact for all of our vendors, bridal party & family, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our day without any stress or worries. Nicole was crucial in ensuring our day ran smoothly and kept the whole timeline on track and I can't even begin to describe what an important role she played. There are no words!!! Simply put, we don't know what we would have done without her!! My husband and I kept saying the next day, seriously though what would we have done?! When the florist only delivered 6 bouquets instead of 8 for my bridesmaids, she contacted the florist and had 2 more bouquets at the site of our pictures in what seemed like a blink of an eye! There was an issue with power for the ceremony, she was on it! There was a mix up with a last minute table addition, she fixed it! Which, by the way, I had absolutely NO idea about any of these issues until after the wedding. Almost all of our vendors went out of their way to mention how much they enjoyed working with Nicole & that they would jump at the opportunity to work with her again. If you’re on the fence about hiring a coordinator, my #1 advice as a newly married woman is- DO IT! And of course, hire Nicole!

Best wedding planner in the world!!! It has been a little over a month since our dream wedding. We worked with Melissa from Events by Missy since last June. I was referred to her by a friend who got married a 2 years ago and working with her was the best wedding decision we made. I work 50 hours a week and my hubby is doing his externship at a hospital, so we knew from the beginning that we needed help planning. From start to finish Melissa has helped with everything. She quickly problem solved when our original venue didn’t work out, her quick action and experience led us to the perfect venue. Her ability to take our conversations and turn them into a working vision board made it easy for vendors to follow. Her creative vision made our wedding truly dreamy. All of our guests were blown away and some say it was the best wedding they ever attended. This is a direct result of Melissa’s hard work and dedication to her clients. It was a HUGE sigh of relief arriving to the venue and seeing all of the décor, tables, and miscellaneous items set up hours before our ceremony was set to begin. Throughout the evening, Janet made sure to see that I was enjoying the evening and always had a drink in my hand. I was the type of bride who was very particular. I had a vision of what I wanted, but was a little bit overwhelmed and was not sure how we would ultimately get there. I did my research, and after speaking with several potential planner candidates, I can honestly say that going with Blush Bouquet Wedding Planners was a no brainer for me. While other planners were rigid on where their role began and ended (i.e. exactly what they were willing to help with), Bari (the owner) was completely flexible to do whatever it took to bring our vision to life. She customized her planning service package to fit my needs, and adjusted pricing accordingly to ensure that it made the most sense for both parties— if you’ve been planning a wedding for 5 minutes you’ll understand how unique that is. From the moment we chatted during my initial consultation with Blush Bouquet Wedding Planners, I knew that they would transform our wedding day dreams into a reality. Bari was an amazing advocate, and was integral in helping us to finalize contracts with hotels for guest blocks, and key vendors for our special day. Through her extensive contacts in the wedding industry, she was able to help negotiate on our behalf to get us some amazing discounts which saved us a great deal of money. While the rest of the vendors I worked with were much more transactional, Bari genuinely cared about me and my future husband. I can’t even really tell you how important this piece was to me during the final weeks, and it gave me such a sense of confidence and reaffirmed my faith in both her and her team. On the wedding day itself, Bari and her Blush Bouquet Wedding Planners team absolutely blew us out of the water!!! They were early, and had such a calming presence for both me and my bridal party. They kept us 100% on schedule at all times. I had an urgent situation arise with my wedding dress (as a result of a poor seamstress decision on my part), and Bari, who, in magical turn of events, also happens to have some seamstress experience, was on her hands and knees making all of the necessary adjustments to my dress. No one had any idea that we had literally altered it moments before I walked down the aisle! She had her team on-site at our reception venue location coordinating everything to make sure that every single detail that we outlined together was executed to perfection. We had the absolute best time on our wedding day— my husband and I so were able to feel completely carefree (BEYOND rare for me) and euphorically happy and in love, and I can truthfully say that Bari and her team blessed us with that luxury because we were able to trust them whole heartedly. I am so lucky to have found you, and I will continue to scream your praises from the rooftop for years to come!

In the months before the wedding, the Styled Stem team provided the perfect balance of logistical and emotional support to allow me to go into my wedding day without any concerns. From day 1, the team listened to my vision and worked with me to make it happen, from finding the best-in-class vendors to floral design to logistical support. My wedding was set in the backyard of my uncle's rural property in western New Jersey. There were many unique challenges associated with this venue choice: parking on a bumpy lawn, scarcity of indoor restrooms, a long driveway which made for tricky rental delivery. Candice and her team found us the valet who would make it happen, the more deluxe mobile restrooms any of our guests had seen, and on the day of my wedding, she solved delivery mishaps before I even heard about then. And the visual design! Everything came out exactly as I wanted it to, and beyond. I was surprised on the day of my wedding with gorgeous wildflower floral arrangements in small glass vases. The day was a perfect blend of flowery laid-back visuals while still feeling elegant and allowing the natural environment to sing. My wedding bouquet, a Styled Stem design, was absolutely perfect, and Candice's completely independent design and creation. One more thing: this team attended the most sentimental day of our lives and fit right in among our family and friends. They worked incredibly hard, but with such grace and good humor, they felt like family. I hope to keep in touch with them for years to come, as I feel grateful to have met such wonderful people as they are through this process.

Excellent news: your search for a wedding planner and coordinator is over. Hire Venture North Events! They are the best! Kim and CJ are the perfect mix of detail-oriented, thoughtful, creative, and cool under pressure. We hired them for full planning for our wedding weekend at Eastwind Hotel in Windham in June 2023. We started working with them a year before, and they were deeply engaged the entire time. Our wedding was a full weekend (3 days and three events), with lots of different moving parts and activities. Everything was outdoors. We had to bring in and set up a lot of stuff. Not only were they exceptional at knowing and implementing logistics (sound, lighting, rentals, decor, rain plans), they always made sure that the events reflected our personal vision and intentions. The planning process itself was made immensely fun working with them. Because of their expertise, we were able to focus on the creative stuff. We crafted what we hoped the weekend would look like together, planning over calls and the super organized planning spreadsheets Kim and CJ have created. Their systems kept us on track, and we (and our guests!) appreciated how well organized and executed everything was! On Saturday, we had lots of intermittent rain during outdoor events. Kim and CJ kept all our guests dry and happy, shifting schedules and logistics as needed. We were involved in these decisions but also trusted them completely, so were able to be fully present in the day with our guests. Kim’s timelines the day of the wedding ran impeccably; nothing felt rushed and she brought on top notch folks to work the wedding as day of staff. She has a deep knowledge of and relationships with various vendors in upstate New York, everyone was truly excellent. On top of it all, Kim and CJ were truly a joy to work with. Now a month out from the wedding, we are so grateful for how it all went! We miss them terribly! In sum, VNE gets our highest possible recommendation. Do yourself a favor and hire them, ASAP!

Its also important to mention that on our wedding day, NYC was in a state of emergency due to extreme rain and flash flooding. It was a pretty stressful morning but Ashley kept us calm and ensured that our wedding moved forward as planned. We had such a fun night despite the crazy weather and were able to enjoy our evening without worrying about the little details. We cannot recommend Starling enough!!

Honestly 10 out of 5 stars is what I would give this company. Misha was my day of coordinator and she was attentive, caring, proactive, and really loves weddings l. She listened intently on how my partner and I met and looked through my wedding PowerPoint and responded to all my texts. There was a hiccup the morning of my wedding but gthr went above and beyond where the founder of the company actually came to help to make sure everything was seamless. I wasn't expecting that at all so seeing her there assisting made me feel at ease. If they weren't there I think I would've been a hot mess. Worth every penny.
