Hello! I'm Florencia, a wedding photographer based in NY/NJ and I'm looking forward to meeting you! I'm fluent in English and Spanish and I found myself working with multicultural couples a lot. That's one of the many amazing parts of my work. I've been capturing love stories for more than seven years and I LOVE to do this for a living.

Awarded Best of Zola
We hired Flo as our wedding photographer and as part of the package an engagement session was included. The engagement photos were so much fun to take, and we were so grateful to Flo for her inclusion of our Great Dane, Jerry. Our experience with Flo and her team leading up to and on the day of our wedding was exceptional! Prior to the big day, she was communicative and very helpful when it came to coordinating our timeline. On the day of, she and her team arrived ready and in great spirits, which enhanced the festive mood of the day. Flo made us feel at ease throughout all the group photos and made a point to capture the most lovely sunset photos of just the two of us. Looking through our gallery we are transported right back to the day of the event as she and her team did a wonderful job of capturing us, our guests, and all the little details in between. Image our shock when a drone video was also made possible (a service we highly recommend)! We cannot stop flipping through the images and our family/friends are in awe of how wonderfully they themselves were photographed. We would hire Flo again in a heartbeat! - Michele and Nestor

I can't say enough great things about NJ Wedding Studio! Frank was so easy to work with and our photographer, Daniel, is GREAT at what he does! When I first reached out to Frank, he responded back right away with pricing and everything I might need to know. We scheduled a phone conference to talk more about what my husband and I were looking for. Right away, I got the sense that Frank was so organized and knew what he was doing. Throughout the entire process, Frank was answering our questions promptly and never left us in the dark. We scheduled an engagement photo session with Daniel and couldn't have been happier! I'm personally not comfortable in front of the camera, but Daniel posed us throughout the entire session and made us feel very at ease. Daniel was also very easy to work with. We got our photos back EARLY in color and black and white. The quality was amazing and they turned out beautiful. On our wedding day, Daniel was prompt and got started with the photos right away. He followed what my husband and I wanted to capture, as well as other photos I wouldn't have even thought to take. He arrived at 1pm and was with us until 11pm. He captured us getting ready, first look, group shots, ceremony and party shots. We got a sneak peek not even 24 hours later and to say they looked amazing is an understatement! We received all of our pictures 3 weeks later and enjoyed looking at them together. Not a single moment was missed. Thank you, NJ Wedding Studio, for being apart of our dream wedding!

Tati And Roman

5.0

New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,500

We are a married couple of photographers. Within years of career, we discovered what’s really matters - we want to make people happy. Weddings have it all: new interesting people, touching stories, warm family relationships, tears. A lot of tears! Oh, don’t forget dances and sparklers! So, it’s fun! 🙂 Also, we love weddings because it’s the most challenging kind of photography in the field, it combines all the genres. It make you think, move and react quickly in constantly changing surrounding. We have no room for mistakes. So It’s never boring! 🙂

Awarded Best of Zola
Planning a wedding is stressful and feels like trying to juggle a thousand different things. Hiring Tati and Roman meant we knew we didn’t have to worry about one of the biggest aspects of our wedding day. From the beginning their communication and professionalism set the standard. The pre wedding planning they do made it so easy day of. The day of our wedding it rained all day they already had back up locations for the weather. They arrived on time and were so friendly and calming throughout the day. They made sure we got all the pictures we wanted done. When we got the photos back we were blown away by how amazing they all came out. We have been getting non stop compliments from friends and family about them! Tati and Roman need to be on the top of your list if you’re getting married in NYC

Justin McCallum Photography

New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200

Hi! I’m Justin (he/him) and I’m here to affirm your love, make you feel like a fucking rockstar, and dance like a total fool. Oh, and take so many gorgeous photos of y’all. Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Awarded Best of Zola
We absolutely loved working with Justin! We were totally overwhelmed with the whole process and he made us feel comfortable and calm at all times. He is super responsive to all messages and never once left us hanging. On the day of the wedding he was a blast to have around and made everyone relaxed and always laughing. We got so many compliments from our wedding party and guests about how hilarious he is! How he managed to wrangle everyone for all the family photos is a mystery to me. We are awkward and not always “picture people” and all of the pictures we received are stunning! He truly makes you feel that your wedding is his favorite. I cannot recommend Justin enough, if he’s available book him immediately!!

Hi, I'm Celeste, I'm from a small town in Spain. Now leaving in NY. I have spent the last seven years getting to know new humans and documenting their stories and connections. Shelby made us feel so comfortable from our first convo and that completely transferred to when we were front and center. We felt like we had one of our best friends behind the camera and our photos show that! The day was full of joy and Shelby captured it with seeming ease. Another plus, Shelby is not afraid to take charge of the room when things need to get done but still is kind and always made us feel totally on track!! Kim-Trang Photography

After working 10+ years in corporate America in NYC, California and traveling the globe, I found myself wanting more than what the traditional career path had set for me. I stumbled into photography while I was on maternity leave with my oldest and started a side hustle that I had no idea was going to turn into a complete career change years later. From the very first wedding I shot, I knew I was onto something. And ever since then, I haven't looked back.

She finds a way to make your vision into reality in the most special way.

Hi, my name is Millie! I picked up a camera 11 years ago and I've been wholeheartedly devoted to this craft ever since. Through photography, I've come to understand that the meaningful connections I form with others hold a special significance for me and should be documented. My journey has naturally directed me toward wedding photography, enabling me to translate your love into art. To me, nothing compares to distilling love into photographs.

We only have praises to sing about Millie. It was such a pleasure to work with her for our wedding. She is someone who goes above and beyond. She really put in the time to get to know us as a couple during our engagement photo session and the planning process that by the time our wedding rolled around, we felt so comfortable with her, despite normally being very awkward in front of the camera. Planning with Millie was a breeze -- she was professional in every meeting. She made sure she understood what kind of shots we wanted, then executed the shot list we created together perfectly. Our wedding day timeline was pretty complicated, yet she was gracious in being flexible and accommodated us in every way possible. During the wedding itself, Millie captured every moment beautifully without being distracting or in the way. She is a rockstar who will surprise you with how quickly she will turn around your photos. We are thrilled about how our engagement and wedding photos turned out and would recommend her to any engaged couple! Thanks for making our wedding day so special, Millie!

I'm in love with human emotions, either it's laughing till it hurts or tears of happiness. When your man hugs you so strong, that you can't breathe or when your dad is crying (for the first time in his life!) listening to your vows at the altar. I do believe, that these un-staged moments are more meaningful than classy portraits on a sunset (but no worries, you'll plenty of both!) If you feel like we are on the same page - let's talk! Write me a few words about who you are, tell me your story and let's create something beautiful together!

I just want to start out by saying my fiancé and I are the literal worst when it comes to being in front of a camera. We’re awkward, we’re stiff & we joke too much lol. When looking for a wedding photographer I wanted to find someone of course who had talent and beautiful editing skills but I also wanted to be comfortable, I wanted something personal with my photographer. And boy did I hit the jackpot with Mina! Her skills are INCREDIBLE. Our photos are absolutely stunning and I’ve received so many compliments. Not only that but we received our photos so quickly. A lot of people only give you the bare minimum edited photos but she edited almost every single one!! I absolutely love her to death, she made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable that we were able to open up and I feel like she truly captured who we were. Not only did I secure the best photographer but I’ve also made a lifelong friend. 10/10 recommend

Emma Cleary Photo and Video

5.0

New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

I was referred to Emma Cleary via a gf who had just had her wedding shot and said she did great work so I was happy to get a glowing referral while trying to source vendors. Emma was a godsend for me, because my wedding had so much that I wanted to cover, with so many moving pieces (7 musical acts, 20 performers, etc.) at so many different locations (a memorial area for first look, then over to a Park for ceremony, then a boat to an Island for the reception) via different modes of transportation (car, ferry, boat, 2nd line parade) over multiple nights (we shot both Friday -Sunday am) but her and her team came along for the entire ride and nailed it and I got AMAZING photos for every part. The lead photographer was so on it (which we needed bc we were on such a tight schedule) and the other photographers were also great and told us jokes which helped me actually get genuine smiles and helped so much during the stressful first look. My veil blew away during my photos (before the ceremony, sigh) and they were there trying to climb the tree to get it (but it was way too high up!) but A+ for effort. And the best part was that she actually SAVED my wedding... we had planned on getting married next to a carousel inside a public park, and the carousel party coordinator didn't file the required permit we needed so a hour before I walked down the aisle the park rangers came in and forced the setup/guests out. Emma knew the owner of a nearby restaurant where she had shot wedding photos before and asked the owner if we could use in front of his restaurant (facing the water) as a ceremony site. If that had not happened then who knows where I would have gotten married. She worked with my wedding planner and my guests (and us too!) had a place to have our ceremony last second... she was a total life saver during such a stressful and important moment. And then at the end once we received the photos, my favorite part was the light editing which was just the right amount, not too fake, so was perfect. Some of the photos dont even look like we are in a city which I just loved loved loved and had said I wanted, and then when we wanted city or actions shots she got those too so we had options of everything we did in every way. There is one shot where she got the end of our first dance and it looks like we are in a Broadway play! Anyways, as you could tell I couldnt have recommended any more bc she has so many years of experience it helped us with not only capturing the moments perfectly, and in a perfect way, it also helped us bc she knows all the wedding venues and wedding industry people and I never realized how much that plays a part in booking vendors.

I live in New York City and Northwest CT with my wife and our two rescue dogs. I am a commercial lifestyle and wedding photographer. My creative journey began when I spent a decade touring the country with my indie rock band, The Booda Velvets. While on tour I was always taking photos with my dad’s old Pentax film camera and a Polaroid SX70. During this time, my passion for documentary style photography was born and after touring I traded the guitar for the camera and haven’t looked back.

We chose to work with Adam after considering a number of other photographers and couldn't possibly have been more happy with our choice. Not only is Adam an extremely nice guy and very, very easy to work with, but the photos themselves are stunning. His sense of framing, of color, of timing...everything. He really captured the joy of our wedding and made all of us look beautiful. Thanks, Adam! And be sure to ask about the archival quality printed photo albums he makes. 100% worth it as a lifetime souvenir.

I'm just an 80's born, 90's raised millennial photographer who wants to shoot passionate couples and have his avocado toast too. My approach to photography is journalistic, directed not posed. My approach to a wedding day is calm, attentive, easy-going, non-intrusive without being awkwardly shy, and always with a smile.

We absolutely loved working with Hector for our engagement photos. The experience itself was a blast - we truly had so much fun shooting and he made us feel comfortable and relaxed, which is exactly what comes through in every single photo. The final product is beyond what we could have imagined and we have not stopped getting compliments from family and friends. We are booking him for our wedding and know he will take beautiful photos to help us remember the day!

I would describe myself as a minimalist on the outside, Liberace on the inside. Obsessed with: dogs, dog-like cats, oysters, urban planning, and really excellent stand-up comedy. I'm originally from the majestic state of New Jersey, and live in the Ditmars section of Astoria, Queens. When I'm not photographing weddings, you can bet I'm either reading or writing fiction (currently working on a project set in Pennsylvania coal country, where my grandfather grew up), watching or rewatching great television

Of the dozens of people we needed to work with at our wedding, Alexis was by far our favorite. We sought her out for her style - natural, candid, genuine. But she was also the most professional, punctual, prepared and FUN person to work with. She was on top of absolutely everything and we were so well taken care of. It's been a while since we got married, but her style of photography really allows us to relive the day. There are no stuffy portraits, just beautifully captured natural moments that really paint a picture of what it was like to be there. We can't say enough about how lucky we were to find Alexis!

Mark was an outstanding photographer. He and his staff were personable, detail-oriented and captured the nuances of our wedding celebration with artistic, action-packed and candid photos. Somehow he was everywhere at once and through his photos we are able to relive the entire celebration each time we look at the photos. He has given us tangible memories of an unforgettable night. We are Roge and Fernando and we want you to know some things about us. We passionately and creatively document love stories. (It feels so cheesy when I see it written, but it’s true.) And we want you to understand that there are no second chances to get it right, and that we are obsessed with getting it right. This is your wedding, our work will tell your story forever, and we don’t take that lightly. At all.

I stay behind the camera because I'm more than a little introverted. That is, until I get to know people. Then I open up and we can talk about movies, music, dogs (I'm happy to show you pictures and videos of my rescue dog). I love what I do because I get to capture moments between you and the most important people in your life that you'll be able to relive for decades to come!

Casey photographed my wedding in 2008. We chose him because we really found his photography to be stylish and beautiful without being pricey or pretentious, and we found it in him. Of course we had a budget, but Casey worked with us every step of the way to make it work without pressure. He made eye contact when we spoke, took notes and was attentive and sensitive to every detail. I finally felt seen. I didn't feel like I was just another bride. In that moment; I was THE BRIDE. At the wedding he was a calming presence, as he and his assistant helped with details sometimes above and beyond his job description. When it came time to actually pose with some family members, he was patient and his comedic personality kept us all entertained through those "mandatory photos". The rest? Well it was on artistic auto-pilot from there, it was incredibly smooth. He is able to move around the room capturing the pure emotions that made your day, yours. I remember him being there of course, but I just remember having the best time of my life;not if I closed one eye or had lipstick on my teeth. Our photos were the simply the best photojournalism I had ever seen. My jaw dropped because I don't consider myself photogenic AT ALL (hello, double chin! Just why? EVERY pic from girl's night..really?) but there it was. I looked GOOD. Everyone did. Great light and texture...high-def LOVE. It was INCREDIBLY difficult to narrow down the pics we wanted to an amazing album that he retouched to perfection and arranged! So. In conclusion.... Stop. Looking. Further. You found him. Be Happy. And Congrats on one of the first of many smart decisions as you begin your new life together.

We (Melissa & Michael) became wedding photographers because we truly believe we have something different to bring to the table. Our goals are simple: to help you relive each moment of your wedding day every time you look at your images, make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and blend into the crowd like we're your guests. We pride ourselves on open & honest communication with our couples, a seamless booking-through-wedding-day process, super speedy photo delivery, and lending a helping hand in any way we can.

This review is long overdue and well deserved. If you only have time to read one more sentence: Hire Melissa and be confident that you will get the photos and vision you want on your special day! We partnered with Melissa at Sava Studio for our wedding this past September and she shot, composed and edited our engagement photos as well. Melissa as a vendor is responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, creative and gregarious. She was always open and transparent with us, patient listening to what we thought we wanted and our vision and was always available to offer feedback as we requested. She walked us through the entire wedding process with respect to the photography aspect and she also offered assistance as we needed in related areas as we got closer to our wedding date. Our first interaction with her was our engagement photo shoot and Melissa made my partner and I feel comfortable while she was shooting and she was very flexible in the shots we wanted to take and what we wanted to see. Very importantly for me, Melissa has a great eye for a memorable photo! Getting to see the raw photos as well as the edited ones Melissa showed us her talent and professionalism. We shot in bright sunlight, shade and darker areas and Melissa was able to handle it all. Our wedding was a few months later at our parents house and the area that the ceremony took place in was unique in that there were a lot of trees/shadows/light patterns to manage. Melissa handled it all! She and her partner used every trick in the book to get the best photos of my wife and I and were able to take some classic natural/unposed shots of us. It speaks to her professionalism and vision that she knew where to be and when to get the best shots! Post-wedding, Melissa had us a sizable preview to review almost 24 hours after the wedding so she could collect feedback before sending us our final photo collection. Once sent, Melissa/Sava made it very easy for us to share photos with family and friends and access them in the future for when we wanted to reminisce. We can't thank Melissa enough and we recommend Melissa at Sava for all of your photography needs!

Laura is wonderful to work with! Laura's style of photography is what had originally drawn us to her; her ability to capture candid moments and how she always seems to get the perfect lighting! The photos she took completely captured the overall warm and loving vibe of our wedding. She must be some sort of magician... or just the best possible wedding photographer... Booking her was easy. She was easy to get in touch with and was always prompt to respond. I'm glad we booked her early to lock in our date. She is a very popular photographer and she books up fast! We met Laura before our wedding to go over the details of the venue and timeline of the night. She is a pro so she can make any venue, even the warehouse we booked, look bright and not dark and dingy. Day of, Laura came happy and ready to shoot. Our portraits with parents and the bridal party were not only beautiful, taken in a field, but also super fun! Laura knows how to make you feel good about yourself when she's shooting you! She was also making jokes which helped make us all comfortable. The ceremony and reception pictures were just breathtaking! She captured how funny our officiant was, our special "I do" moment and of course our first kiss as husband and wife! During our reception, we had circus performers lead the guests in hula hooping and juggling... Laura was able to get some amazing action shots on the fly! Overall, Laura is the absolute best. She was the perfect photographer for our special day and I cannot imagine having someone else in her place! She is so talented, sweet, punctual and professional; all things you want and need in a photographer! We love her and will be hiring her in the future for family portraits!

As my Instagram bio says, I'm a country girl by birth, a city girl by choice and a photographer by obsession. I grew up on a farm in a small Midwestern town, but have lived in New York City for over 25 years. As a photographer I say I'm self-taught, but in reality I've had the benefit of amazing mentors and teachers along the way who helped me elevate my work and pursue joy along with results. When not making photos or hanging out with my husband and kids, you can find me with a book in hand or listening to music while indulging my love of textiles at my sewing machine (yes, I really own a sewing machine)! Oh, or dancing! :-)

We loved having Amy photograph our wedding day! Her style of photography is completely different from traditional wedding photography. Amy's candid photography really captured the emotion of the day and we love the black and white prints! Amy worked so well with our other more traditional photographer. The shooting is so different that there was zero interference. We cherish our photos and highly recommend anyone getting married to consider hiring Amy to capture the day!

Hello there! I’m Karen, a wedding and portrait photographer based out of New York. I love photographing LOVE! Connections. The places we go, the people we meet, and the experiences we have along the way are what we remember most in life. I have a passion for traveling and exploring the world, and my life is filled with a lot of laughter, incredible food and wine, and photo adventures with clients turned friends.Memories are such a vivid representation of our lives and capturing the spirit of each couple, family or individual in that sliver of time is an opportunity I am very proud to call my work.

Karen is an amazing photographer with an INCREDIBLE EYE! She captures moments and details that most people miss, but that everyone wants to remember. I worked with Karen at a wedding on the California Coast and was so impressed by her professionalism, warm demeanor and efficiency. The images from the wedding (and my florals) were stunning. I recommend Karen wholeheartedly, and can't wait to work with her again!

“Photography takes a moment out of life…and holds it still” A small collection of photographers who strive to capture the emotion and energy of life’s significant moments in a sophisticated yet understated light hearted way.

My husband and I cannot thank Hechler Photographers enough for everything. It was such a joy shooting with Julio for our engagement shoot in downtown Manhattan and our Rehearsal Dinner at the Union League Club in NYC, and we loved shooting with Julio, David, and John (the videographer) on our wedding day that took place on May 18, 2024 at the Metropolitan Club in NYC. From the moment we met David (recommended by our amazing planner, Jeff Stillwell of Stillwell Events), we knew it was a wonderful match. David is extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and an amazing listener. When David referenced notes from our very first conversation a year and a half later (just a little under a month from our wedding), I was beyond impressed and truly touched. We greatly appreciate how David, Julio, and John were all able to quickly respond in the moment and pivot as needed, whether it was to ensure my hair could be touched up to stay perfectly in place or that we could have time to relax before key moments (e.g., the ceremony). As an incredibly detail-oriented bride, I am so grateful for all the attention to detail that was demonstrated from the beginning of our wedding day to the end of the evening. David, Julio, and John managed to strike the perfect balance of making their presence known, while blending in perfectly (one of my friends had commented that most photographers & videographers she had seen at weddings were so loud and even disruptive). Not this team!!!! I will also be forever grateful for all the encouragement and helpful tips and pointers/direction that David and Julio provided throughout Friday and Saturday to make sure that everyone looked and felt their best while remaining confident in being themselves. I still have Julio’s voice in my head saying, “Work it!” I am so grateful that David and Julio were able to capture all the photos and videos on my extensive shot list, and then some!! My husband, our families, and I cannot wait to see these photos and videos - if the engagement shoot photos are any indication of what's to come, these photos and videos are going to be absolutely magnificent. David, Arthur, Julio, and Casey, thank you for everything! It has been such a pleasure working with you all. This past weekend felt like heaven on earth, and I’m so glad we chose you all to capture these memories we will cherish forever and ever. -Nicole & Kyle May 18, 2024

In the 1950s & 60s, The Bronx was home to an amazing photographer that captured weddings and family events. His name? Warren Meurer aka the “Silverfox” (due to his flowing silver and gray locks). Fast forward to the early 1990s, Warren’s grandson, John Salkowsky, decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and open a wedding photography and video studio. When it came time to name this newly formed company, there was only ONE name it could possibly have – Silverfox Studios.

I have been working with Silver Fox Studios for more than 10 years. John and his team are professional, courteous, honorable and kind aside from being great photographers. It is a pleasure to work with the Silver Fox, they always go the extra mile for their clients and always work seamlessly with my team.

As your wedding photographers we are here to document your love, so don't hold anything back. Share ALL of your emotions with us and forget the "photo shoot" aspect of it. Focus on enjoying the day with your loved one and embrace the spontaneous moments. We want you to just be you! We only ask that you trust us, dream with us, and allow us to create something beautiful together.

Jess and Andrea of Forever Photography truly made our wedding on 5/29/22 so enjoyable. My husband (!!!) and I come from HUGE immediate families, so we knew it would be a lot to get everyone together for photos. Not only did Forever make the family portraits (and EVERY part) so insanely relaxing and fun, they are also incredibly kind people with talent that is shown through every photo. I've been to so many weddings where the photographers just point and shoot and don't really seem to care much about the outcome, but each photo the team takes, you know they put their heart and soul into it. My entire family and bridal party have raved about how this duo made what can sometimes be a dreadful/boring experience such a seamless and enjoyable one. From our engagement shoot a year ago to our wedding day, we know we made the right decision choosing them to be a part of the most special time of our lives. Having already received some preview photos, we are blown away and have been sharing them with everyone! It was really important to us to have a great photographer, but we didn't realize just how lucky we were to have chosen Forever until the day of the wedding where they made every moment enjoyable, really cared about making us feel comfortable, and were so patient and understanding. And when we saw the photos, we were absolutely blown away and cannot believe they captured our love, our family and friends, and our wedding as a whole so perfectly. We are FOREVER grateful!

On most weekends you can find me, Robert ('Bobby'), photographing weddings—either in New York (where I lives) or farther a field: in various locations around the US and abroad. I find wedding ceremonies to be more than just a series of actions, people, and images to be “captured,” but rather recognizes them as events full of deep personal and cultural significance, particular to a specific time and place and community. As such, I assumes the responsibility of documenting these moments with great respect, believing them to be deserving of a discerning eye and an artistic hand.

We had the pleasure of meeting Bobby a few years ago when my sister got married. When we got engaged, he was the first vendor that we booked. Bobby is an incredibly professional and passionate photographer. His work captures every emotion of the day. What we love the most about Bobby is his calm demeanor and that he blends in with the crowd. He is really flexible and is willing to accommodate all needs. We are currently in the process of making our wedding album and it’s hard to choose the photos, as every one is better than the next. We are forever grateful to Bobby for capturing our special day.

I’m into spending all my time at a beach every chance I get, having my nose stuck in a book and if there were no biological consequences, I’d be eating chocolate and drinking tequila all day. The key to our service is investing in making your wedding day experience great. With this service in mind, we can create beautiful visual storytelling that is singular for you. Our name, Ein photo , embodies that mission. Eins (pronounced [aɪ̯ns]) means one in German, so Ein Photo means one photo. One has many meanings to it, the first, the best, but we look at it as the only one. One couple, with one story, told by one series of photos.

We met with several photographers and knew we wanted Tim and his team to be our photographer after our first meeting. My husband and I both don't really like having our pictures taken and thought our engagement photoshoot session was going to be filled with uncomfortable awkward poses and smiles. We were so wrong! Tim made us feel comfortable and easily directed us when needed. It ended up being a really fun hour and we loved how natural we looked in all of our pictures! For our wedding, Tim and his team arrived on time and captured all of our key moments. They were so efficient and easy to work with the entire day (and throughout this entire process)! I wasn't stressed at all and we LOVE how all of our pictures came out! Thank you SOO much Tim and Joseph! Ein Photography is the BEST and a must for your wedding day!!

I’m Alyssa! My job is to capture the intimacy and beauty of love in all its forms, which basically means it's the coolest job. Telling real stories in beautiful ways is my jam! That is how I became a wedding and portrait photographer. I also happen to be a lover of both dogs and baked goods and I love to see the world. As an artist, I am drawn to rich, bold images. I love to play with light, and moreover I love to play, period. I catch your most captivating and authentic images by working from a place of joy and genuine happiness in what I do.

Running a historic site with acres of gardens often makes you nervous that a vendor will come in and trample on flowers or not respect the property. Enter Alyssa...she could not be more professional and respectful of our site. That aside, she is an AMAZING photographer. I love to showcase her photos on our site, social media, you name it. She captures so much emotion on wedding day and her editing style is true to color, which is super important when showing photos to potential couples. Her photos make you almost feel like you were there. I couldn't recommend her more!

Dave has photographed the weddings of notables like Christina Hendricks, Ellie Kemper and Piper Perabo, who sought him out for his one-of-a-kind brand of visual storytelling. Renowned for unique ability in finding beautiful nuance, Dave is one of the most sought after wedding photographers in the world. Passionate about his craft yet relaxed in his approach, Dave prides himself in his innate ability to put clients at ease. "When a subject is totally comfortable, they feel free to be themselves. What results from this is the beauty of authenticity".

Dave Robbins is an excellent photographer and, more importantly, an absolute pleasure to work with. We wanted to take photos walking around New York City, and even though it was raining, Dave was a total champ about it and took amazing pictures. We were also looking for a photographer whose photos weren't muted and instead "popped," and this was definitely the case with Dave's pictures. Dave also captured our joy and spirit on such a happy day, and we had so much fun working with him. We couldn't recommend Dave highly enough.

If you're searching for a photographer who will make you feel comfortable, cool, and let you thrive as your true selves, hello, you've come to the right place! I genuinely want to forge a connection, hang with you, and earn your trust. I'll capture everything, and I'll be there for you whether you need a safety pin or someone to wipe away your tears.

Where do I even start?! Our journey with Sydney began 3 years ago when we fell in love with her style and video chatted with her before hiring her to take our engagement photos. From the very beginning, Sydney felt like a good friend, made us feel totally comfortable, and had amazing ideas for great photos. We were above and beyond happy with our photos and couldn't wait for her to shoot our wedding. Our wedding day finally came around and OH. MY. GOD. Words cannot describe how absolutely beautiful our photos are! She knew exactly what I liked and somehow managed to capture all the little details and ALL THE LOVE perfectly! I've had multiple people tell me that her photos are the best they've ever seen! Every single one! There weren't just some good photos, they were ALL good! Sydney is very communicative, open to changes, easily reachable, and will work hard to make you happy! Thank you so much for allowing us to relive our perfect day! <3

Natural Expressions NY Photography and Videography is a boutique company, specializing in photography and cinematography. Our photography style blends natural fine art portraiture with the fashionable elegance of photojournalism. Matching our clients’ needs and desires, as well as exceeding their expectations are our main objectives.

Natural Expressions NY did an amazing job - we had the best experience working with Frank and Telmo for photography, and Alex for videography!! My now husband and I knew we wanted to work with Natural Expressions NY for our wedding because they captured my sister and brother in law’s wedding in 2015 so beautifully!! We worked with Frank leading up to the wedding, including creating our schedule for the day of. And trust me, I wasn’t easy - I had three separate first looks (with my dad, my bridesmaids and then of course my groom!). Frank and Telmo were our day of photographers and made sure everything ran smoothly and that we stayed on schedule! Frank and Telmo were also extremely fun to work with on our wedding day, and we felt so comfortable with them! The shots were so fun and creative, yet classic! The whole team is extremely responsive before and after the wedding, and very easy to work with as well. The photos are absolutely stunning and we are so happy with the finished product! I was so elated to receive our beautiful, extremely high quality wedding photos and video - definitely shed many happy tears reliving our day! We love Natural Expressions NY!!

It’s a pretty cool/weird thing when your hobby becomes your job, so I feel like I am still working on being a more well rounded human hobby-wise. I love hiking with my pup Tucker, bringing my hammock to the park with a good book, finding cool events happening in the city, making homemade milkshakes(you haven’t lived until you’ve made a pb&j milkshake with chocolate sauce. Stop reading and go do that now, you’ll thank me later), oh and watching way too much TV! It’s the golden age of television, so how can you not.

I believe photography is a snapshot of life, where a feeling is captured and magically stored in a timeless memory, a memory that can bring you back to that same instant, the excitement of a moment and cherish the tangible feeling of a photograph. I was born in Ecuador where I spent my childhood surrounded by the unconditional love of my abuelita, she now resides in heaven. I was always independent and silly in front of a camera. I wasn’t too much into playing with a camera and preferred to play in the garden, running around, catching butterflies and always excited to find a ladybug, aren’t they so pretty?

The communion of you and your love isn't just about exchanging rings. It's about filling your heart with the smile of the other, having to pour out tears without knowing the reason why. It's about understanding the language that the eyes speak. We celebrate the day we commit to sharing the tears of joy and sadness, and all the special moments in life, by saying 'I do'. We celebrate with the people, who have prepared us each step of the way, whether emotionally, intellectually or physically, for this very moment.

Hey there!! My name is Marilyn and I'm so glad you're here ♡ I am a couples + wedding photographer based in New York City, and happy to travel to wherever your day is at! I've had pink hair for the last 6 years so at this point it has become a personality trait and I'm 100% okay with it. I love the outdoors, pat every dog I can, and thrive on ben and jerry's. My ideal place to be would likely be frolicking in wildflowers in a dress that's way too long, but the longer the better. The patio of my NYC apartment with a good book is a close second favorite though, for sure.

Awarded Best of Zola
Not sure where to start with just how wonderful Marilyn is to work with. My wife and I just received our full wedding album (in less than 1 month from our wedding no less!) and we are obsessed. Marilyn is such a professional and made us feel SO comfortable behind the camera on our wedding day. Her approach to capturing the candid moments in between the posed ones made for some of the best photos. She also made herself available from the time we booked her through our wedding day, offering to meet in-person to help us sort out day-of timelines and shotlists - which was so helpful for us! We could not be happier with choosing Marilyn for our special day and can't wait to work with her again in the future!

We are incredibly happy with our wedding photos! Bailey really has "the eye." Her artsy and elegant photos are magazine-worthy and really tell a story. If you're looking for the opposite of cheesy wedding photography, your search ends here. I was already quite certain I was going to book Bailey based on her portfolio alone, but the introductory video phone call sealed the deal. In the 20 years that I've been photographing professionally, I’ve honed my skill of knowing when to step in and make things happen, and when to step back and simply *allow* things to happen. Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Awarded Best of Zola
Christopher is an incredible human being who takes absolutely stunning photography. From our first point of contact to our last, he was extremely professional, punctual, and kind. His excellent communication with clients is seamless and streamlined from the start making him a partner you can rely on. Christopher beautifully captured the essence of our wedding and went above and beyond with us and our guests to ensure every moment was accounted for and that everyone felt and looked great! We were blown away with his attention to detail and ability to be present on our big day but not get in the way of small intimate moments. I would highly recommend Christopher - excellent product for value, priceless relationships with local vendors, and a very talented photographer.

I'm Chrysa- a self-taught photographer since 2014. My entire life I've always been in love with taking pictures. Whether it was using a Polaroid as a kid, bringing the ole digital point & shoot along to the bars in college (until I dropped it in a vodka RedBull - RIP) or finally growing up & buying my first big girl DSLR in my early 20s, I have always had a flare for anything creative. I'm sure my parents wished I had a flare for performing heart surgery but here we are... I love travel & all things adventure/outdoors (Want to climb a mountain to elope? I'm your girl. Want to exchange vows in a National Park? I've been to 29, count me in).

Awarded Best of Zola
I have been in my fair share of weddings, and therefore have been the subject of many a professional photo. I generally find the pictures portion of the day draining, and sometimes cheesy. Our photo shoot with Chrysa was the opposite. It was SO MUCH fun. It filled my cup right up! Chrysa is funny, cool, definitely not cheesy, and she has a remarkably creative eye! My boyfriend had a blast as well. The finished products are beautiful, and you can sense the emotion in the photos. BOOK WITH HER - the photos are magical, but so is the experience.

Stephanie was an incredible photographer for our engagement shoot and then our actual wedding day! At our first shoot, she worked through posing with us and helped us to get comfortable with both the camera and each other in a way that really helped remove any potential awkwardness or stiffness for our wedding day. Steph joined us early in the day for some getting ready shots and from that point on, blended so seamlessly into the background that I was genuinely surprised the 3 times I saw her (all 3x were to grab us for agreed upon shots with family, friends and each other). Our wedding guests were equally impressed with how unintrusive she was throughout the ceremony and dinner - something I appreciate so deeply as we wanted this to feel like a fun night out with friends in Brooklyn, and she inherently understood what we were going for, which was reflected in both her presence and the photos, On the photos, they were STUNNING. We wanted several vogue-esque posed photos with our wedding party and then more in the moment capture of the rest of the night, and Steph nailed it. Every photo felt thoughtfully curated, and the entire collection represented our day perfectly. All key moments were captured along with some wonderful ones that I wasn't aware of as I was too busy dancing. Our dog was part of the wedding, and Steph worked so wonderfully with him, incorporating him in all important shots and in general, loved on our little guy so much. In conclusion, Steph is thoughtful and talented - a dream of a vendor and an asset to any event you would hire her for!

Hey- I'm Nicole. When I'm not working with the raddest couples I'm typically brewery hopping with my wife, or home spending time with my three dogs. I live for SU basketball, and love just about any other Syracuse sports team (Crunch, Mets - count me in). I have been photographing weddings for over ten years, and in that time have had the opportunity to travel around the world and meet tons of new friends.
