I've had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember; I used it like a pocket journal of sorts and photographed constantly while growing up in Hawai'i. I fell into weddings when my dad remarried in 2013, and I remember being caught off guard by the swirl of emotions I felt standing at the edge of a new beginning. Turning those feelings into tangible memories was the only thing that made sense. I moved to New York City to refine my skillset and took a detour into the fashion industry before receiving my Bachelor's in photography from NYU.

She sent a very helpful guidebook when we locked her in and I found it to be super useful! Closer to the wedding, she listened to all our questions and gave us her professional input which helped us make decisions like where pictures were going to take place, who should be included in family portraits and some timeline decisions. So, all in all, the logistics were great! If the logistics were great, then the pictures were perfect! We have so many lovely pictures from our wedding of us, our family, our friends, our dog and all the details!
