PROJECT 1952

5.0

Chicago, IL
  • Starts at $7,000

I love color and a well-curated day trip. I have a total obsession with plants and finding the best Spotify playlists. When I’m not flowering, you’ll probably find me thrifting for bespoke home finds, dominating 1500-piece puzzles, and scouring the internet for the next best concert in Chicago.

We used Project 1952 for our engagement party. We were so thrilled with the outcome. Naimah was so engaged and attentive to our vision for the day. She took our vision and made it come to life while using her own creativity. She arrived well ahead of time to get the room set up and the arrangements in place. She thought about every detail down to edible flowers and glitter in the ice cubes that had our guests raving. She was so easy to work with and went above and beyond what we had asked of her. We could not recommend her work enough! We will definitely be using her again!

The best decision you can make for your wedding is hiring YJDecorating as your florist. I can't say enough good things about the team; they are extremely kind, helpful in guiding clueless brides (like me!!!), and were beyond respectful of my budget. The team held a few preliminary calls with me to make sure we were nailing down exactly what I wanted - I didn't have a great vision, but I shared a few Pinterest photos, and we worked through every single detail to make sure they would deliver what I was looking for. They also showed me examples of what they had done in the past for inspiration to make sure they delivered what I wanted. Let me tell you; YJ delivered above and beyond what I ever could have imagined. They fulfilled my vision beyond what I could have expected. Everything from the ceremony (chuppah for Jewish weddings) to the escort card table to the reception tables was gorgeous and looked so amazing in the space. The team was beyond helpful and chipped in with my hair when it was windblown and fluffed my dress walking down the aisle. I also dropped off a lot of my personal items for the wedding to their warehouse, and they were able to set up everything up for me (such as table numbers, signage, etc.). You will be extremely happy with your florals if you go with YJ; they are in the business of making couples happy and want to make your wedding as beautiful as possible. I wish I could hire them again!

Flowers For Dreams

5.0

Chicago, IL
  • Starts at $500

Flowers for Dreams is a mission-driven, local flower design company. Using beautiful & natural wedding bouquets to advance causes of justice and charity in your community. There are no silly upsells, no unnecessary add-ons, and always honest pricing. Our designers work with you from the first meeting to your wedding day.

Our wedding photographer had Flowers for Dreams listed as suggested vendor and I am so glad we chose to work with them for our wedding! From the start, the site was extremely easy to navigate as it asked what type of style we were looking for and pricing was very reasonable. Once you complete your initial style survey, you are matched with someone who sits with you to discuss your vision in detail. Casey was so fantastic and knew exactly what I wanted. My mom made our table centerpieces and she let me send photos as inspiration for the personal and altar floral arrangements. I also loved that they had the pocket square boutonnière for the men as an option! We did that for just the groom and it looked so nice. The flowers arrived right on time the day of the wedding and everything was stored in glass vases with water and easy to transport boxes. They were beyond gorgeous and fit the vision exactly as discussed. I was blown away at how long they lasted too! If you need a wedding florist, I highly recommend working with Flowers for Dreams. Hands down the easiest vendor of our entire wedding to work with!

Urban Allure Events Floral & Design

    5.0

    Chicago, IL

With over ten years in the Floral and Event industry, flowers have always been a part of my life, from playing in the garden with my mom as a girl, to my very first job in a flower shop fluffing carnations as a teenager. I love the way flowers can transform a space and evoke emotion. During the day you can find me in the studio sipping a cappuccino while researching design trends and experimenting with new color pairings. If I'm not designing, I'm most likely experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen or curled up on the couch watching my favorite movie for the 100th time.

The Urban Allure team is the best in Chicago! Do not hesitate to book them for your wedding, everything they do is AMAZING! I have worked with this team many times and they have never failed to impress me. Their floral & design work is stunning, creative, and stands out among the rest. They can absolutely bring your vision to life and are a pleasure to work with.

Martin is an 11/10 florist, coordinator and human. I first met Martin when sourcing florists for a friend’s wedding that I was maid of honor in. His attention to detail, intuition and rigor stuck in my head and since, he has done mine and two other friend weddings. We trusted Martin with a vision for our flowers with guidance of purples and traditional and the bouquets, centerpieces and aisles of the church came to life beautifully. He not only invited us into the store to make sure he was in line, but checked in on our journey to find vendors as we lived out of state, which made us very comfortable. We used Martin’s team for day of services as well and he remained as humble and detailed as he had been the whole process and did everything we needed and more to ensure a beautiful reception. Everything from troubleshooting broken materials to breaking down tables was complete in minutes. We’d highly recommend Martin any day.

My husband and I worked with Clover and Stone for our wedding and could not possibly have been happier! Diane understood and was able to execute our vision completely. The flowers were breathtaking and completely captured the vibe we were looking for. While I'm sure she could create any look and style you wanted, we were drawn to the organic, natural flow of her work - the flowers looked like they were growing out of their vessels. Romantic, sexy and lush. Calm, collected, warm and incredibly talented, Diane and the Clover and Stone team made us feel safe and taken care of at an event that could otherwise have been fraught with stress and anxiety. I highly, highly recommend working with this incredible team - you will not and could not possibly be disappointed.
