The interpretive center also has a smaller, separate conference room, an exhibit space and a patio space that are available to rent.

Urban Growler Brewing is a wedding and rehearsal dinner venue located in a secluded industrial neighborhood in St. Paul. The historic building which was once home to St. Paul’s police horses is now transformed into Minnesota’s first woman owned brewery. Both the Hayloft and the Barrel Room are versatile spaces for your rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, wedding ceremony, reception, elopement after-party, and morning brunch! The space requires minimal decor with its rich textures and warm lighting. Use our on site catering or choose to bring in your own. The Lowell Inn, located in the heart of historic downtown Stillwater, MN is just steps from unique shopping, attractions and the scenic St. Croix River. Established in 1927 and on the National Historic Register, the Lowell Inn offers 23 beautifully restored, private romantic guest rooms featuring today’s amenities, and 12 contemporary rooms in the new annex. For centuries, the beauty and natural treasures of the St. Croix Valley have drawn people to the area which is now Stillwater. The first to call this area home were the Sioux and Chippewa Nations. Later, the first traders and trappers in Minnesota Territory settled here. By the mid 1880’s, railroading and river activity helped build the community into a bustling town of 13,000 people. Stillwater became the trade center for miners and trappers to the North, and farmers and lumbermen to the West. The Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad eventually saw a need for a freight depot. In 1979, the historical significance of the building was recognized and the Freight House became the first building in Stillwater to be placed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
