Lindsay Fondo Studio

5.0

Danbury, CT
  • Starts at $4,000

My name is Lindsay Fondo and I am a floral designer and photographer based in CT, by way of NY. Serving both + NJ. I have a strong appreciation for flowers and photo’s, for their ability to say how we really feel, and how when you look at them you get all of the feel good vibes. I absolutely love working with my clients to bring their vision to life/ help flesh out a vision they didn’t even know was there.

I reached out to Lindsay with my vision and needs. She put together exactly what I ever wanted- dreamy, romantic, airy and natural- with the flowers I love and my color scheme. She’s needless to say very talented. The entire communication during the planning process was smooth, she’s always responsive and be willing to discuss details. I 10/10 recommend Lindsay!

Fountainhead Floral Design

5.0

Milford, CT
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Monroe, CT

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

I had seen other florists in my planning process, much of them telling me that my vision would not fit into my budget. Then I found Fountainhead Floral and Kate was able to give me everything I wanted and work within my budget. I was very stressed about the whole floral and decor planning, but it was so easy to work with Kate and she took all my stress away. Her easy online payment system also included my vision board and laid out everything very clearly. Not to mention, she was sick on our wedding day and did not want to expose herself to our guests (very much appreciated this), but she has an amazing team and they were able to follow her notes, which I believe speaks a lot to her business, and everything turned out amazing! I would work with them again no hesitation!

Truly incredible flowers! Shannon and team created the most amazing florals— even the flower preservation team raved about them 2 days later! I loved the variety of colors and shapes in the arrangements— they felt special and unique. The mix and match vases enhanced the beauty of the venue (a garden) and complimented it perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend Three Roots to anyone looking for bespoke florals.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

5.0

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Serves Monroe, CT

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
You can DIY your wedding flowers! Because Flower Moxie makes it so easy and fun to do. Their packages are so beautiful and provide everything you need to make stunning arrangements. I chose the medium and large packages and was amazed by the number of flowers that arrived. The delivery of the flowers and pickup at the airport was so simple (I was worried about it, but it was no trouble at all), and all of the flowers looked fresh. The tutorials were very helpful and my gals and I were able to arrange 20 centerpieces, bouquets, bud vases, boutonnieres, and corsages in under 3 hours. It was so much fun and I was so pleased with the results. I saved a lot of money and was not disappointed in the least.

We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

SBB was such an easy company to work with and all of the arrangements were BEAUTIFUL! We got a ton of compliments and everyone was SHOCKED to find out they were fake. They arrived a few days prior to the event and returning them was just as easy! And if that hasn't been enough to sell you, the cost was unbelievably affordable!

Little Blooms

5.0

Nashua, NH
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Monroe, CT

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 15 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot recommend Danielle of Little Blooms enough! The entire process of working with her - from initial outreach to day of delivery - was smooth and seamless. She was able to interpret my vision perfectly, and when I saw the flowers she arraigned and prepared for our church, our venue and my bridal boutique and boutonnieres I was in awe. The flowers themselves were gorgeous, but the arrangements she created elevated their beauty to make something truly memorable. Additionally, she was able to work around my budget and even make last minute updates to our contract given changes at our venue - for which, I will be forever grateful. I look forward to the opportunity to work with Danielle and Little Blooms again, as I know I’ll again be impressed with her craftsmanship and skill but also with her grace under pressure, humor and passion for her business.

Alison with Bloom Culture really puts SO much work into making the DIY process as easy as possible! Her YouTube videos and DIY proposal guides are extremely detailed, and it was honestly a blast to put together my own florals for my wedding. I got a group of friends together and we all built the bouquets/boutonnieres/etc two days before the wedding, and it was so much fun! I got to make everything exactly the way I envisioned, and the flowers turned out sooooo beautiful! Such a great experience!
