I've been shooting weddings for 10+ years, am a native Texan gal turned Tennessee transplant, yet somehow never owned a pair of cowgirl boots! My style of shooting consists of fun prompts for the most candid images possible (no awkward poses here!) with light & moody edits. I'm big on keeping things streamlined, sorting out all the deets & answering every question beforehand, so you can kick back on your big day without stressing about photos 📸

A Cotton candy sunset peppered by patio string-lights as a DJ plays my favorite song. We all have timeless memories logged in our minds. For me, they are based in a language of light. Hey there! My name is Maggie, and I am the Owner + Lead Photographer at Desert Luna Photography! I am 24 years old, and just had MY dream wedding myself! We had a small destination wedding in Arizona! I have taken photos with a camera since I was 10 years old - and have even won a few awards for one of my photos! I love the outdoors, chicken strips, being a plant momma, and creating magic through my lens! I am currently on year 5 of taking photos professionally, and on year 3 of being known as Desert Luna Photography!

We are a couple of married folks based out of Tennessee! We enjoy pizza more than we should, Game of Thrones will always hold a special place in our hearts (even though the last season hurt us deeply), and we enjoy spending all of our money on traveling! We have two fur babies! Pickle, a feisty antisocial black cat and Atlas, an overly nice and permanently happy Golden Retriever! They're our world and even though we shoot weddings full time, nothing will come close to the amount of pictures we take of those two. It's embarrassing, really.

I began this journey several years ago inspired by all the little moments going on around me. Photography has become one way I can express myself creatively while freezing a moment in time. I'm especially drawn to documentary & lifestyle photography as I love how natural the emotions are in the photos. There is a story to be told & I look forward to helping capture it on film.
