We are a married couple of photographers. Within years of career, we discovered what’s really matters - we want to make people happy. Weddings have it all: new interesting people, touching stories, warm family relationships, tears. A lot of tears! Oh, don’t forget dances and sparklers! So, it’s fun! 🙂 Also, we love weddings because it’s the most challenging kind of photography in the field, it combines all the genres. It make you think, move and react quickly in constantly changing surrounding. We have no room for mistakes. So It’s never boring! 🙂

After scoping out dozens of photographers in NYC, we fell in love with Tati and Roman’s work. It was a little over our price range, but the photographs and service were absolutely worth it! I had a very challenging wedding day, there were some very emotional moments, and Tati was my right hand girl. She had her eyes on me at all time for anything I needed, from bringing me a glass of water to calm me down, to rallying and directing people clearly in photographs. My favorite moment was when it started to rain towards the end of the night and Roman had my husband and I run out to take a gorgeous picture of the rain falling around us. I can't imagine a more magical portrait of our love, and will remember it forever. That photo alone made them worth it! Additionally, they were professional, friendly, and easy to work with from beginning to end. Tati and Roman runs their business with finesse - always meeting deadlines and responding to questions and concerns quickly. They are the best out there! Book them now!!! You will never regret this!

Where do I even begin? The short of it is that Eddie has given my husband and me incredible, breathtaking engagement and wedding photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives!!! He first shot our engagement shoot and on top of being such an incredible person to work with and offering such a beautiful, fun vibe to energize our shoot with, his photos are UNBELIEVABLE. We were truly speechless when we saw our engagement photos and would not allow anyone but him to shoot our wedding day. Our wedding photos could not have possibly come out more amazing. I cried when I saw how beautiful they came out, and of course, how he managed to intricately capture the essence of our special day full of love and celebrations. AN EYE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY LIKE NO OTHER: My husband and I first met Eddie on our engagement shoot. My husband (like so many men), was feeling awkward before he even got in front of the camera. But the second we met Eddie, his vibe instantly loosened him up and he was able to capture the most sensational photos. He's patient, funny, kind, and has such a talent for capturing every type of photo there is (candids, portraits, artsy aesthetics, etc.) THE BEST ENERGY: He was exactly the type of energy you want from a photographer and brought his same beautiful energy from start to finish on our wedding day. So much so, that to this day my friends still rant about how amazing he was to be around and how he set such a fun tone for my wedding day. My husband and I have been part of countless weddings where the photographers are pushy, annoying, and ruin the vibe, so it was incredibly important for us to have someone with the right energy, and clearly, we strongly felt we found that in Eddie. I cannot count the number of times someone has 1. asked me who my photographer was, 2. how many times people have complimented how incredible both our engagement and wedding photos are 3. MOST IMPORTANTLY: how many of my friends went on to hire him for their own special occasions (from everything from engagement shoots, weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc.) In fact, my friend who hired him to shoot her rehearsal dinner (she had already booked her wedding photographer before my wedding), said that her one wedding regret was not hiring Eddie for her wedding. She still says to this day that her rehearsal dinner photos that Eddie shot came out better than her "high-end" wedding day photos. BOTTOM LINE: My husband and I have found not only a photographer for all of our special occasions to come in life from our connection with Eddie, but we've also found someone we consider a dear friend. He has genuinely become a very special person to us as a couple, our families, and our friends. His work is beyond dependable, his communication is reliable to the utmost degree, and while his prices are incredibly fair (especially for his incredible talent & aesthetic), I truly feel his work is PRICELESS.

I believe love is love and happily photograph couples of all backgrounds, orientations, religions and gender expressions. I aim to create authentic and emotive images for my clients and edit true to color so the work will be timeless. My personality is friendly and warm, which helps make my couples feel at ease and open up in front of the camera. I donate $100 from every wedding day package to a non profit organization (either the ACLU, End the Backlog or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation) because I believe paying it forward in honor of love is an excellent first step into marriage.

You know that all encompassing feeling when you’re revisiting a vivid memory? You can smell the fresh air, feel the way the sun hits your face just so, hear the voice of the loved one next to you, remember the joke that they delivered and instantly you’re laughing all over again. That magic is what I hope to capture as your photographer. It’s my job to hold those moments in time so that they don’t have to fade. You’ll forever be able to revisit the moment, see the exact way they smiled, revisit that incredible sunset, relive the memory and turn back time.

Working with Jess was both a privilege and a pleasure. From the moment we met her via Zoom, we hit it off immediately. Her joy and quirkiness were a perfect match for us, and we knew pretty much immediately that it was going to be a great relationship. We booked her for our engagement photos, and after receiving them, booking her for the wedding was a no-brainer! During our engagment session, Jess was open to making our vision come to fruition, even allowing for outfit changes, and centering our favorite spots while walking around our hometown. When our wedding approached, Jess was in touch frequently, and helped us to set up our time-table for photos, and even suggested some tips for making the day run seamlessly. When the day arrived, Jess was there early and brought a phenomenal second shooter to capture every aspect of the day. Our couple and group photos were taken with lightning efficiency, with Jess at the helm encouraging and motivating people to get pictures done so we could get to the fun parts of the day! From organizing our families and bridal party, to assisting with a wardrobe change mid-reception, Jess made the entire experience fun and completely painless. To top it off, all of our photos came out beautifully and really captured the energy and emotion of our day. Our only regret is not having enough wall space to hang every photo! We recommend- nay, insist - that you book her for your next event. You will not be disappointed.

When I’m not photographing freaking awesome people, you can find me sitting on the couch in my husband's pajama pants, drinking coffee, snuggling my pets, and editing. Coffee and snuggles are my two primary love languages. My favorite Netflix binges are The Office, Shameless, and Friday Night Lights. Clear eyes, full heart. Speed date: I’m obsessed with Vermont, avocados, dark chocolate, and cats. Pinterest is only my friend for recipes. My favorite fair food is fried dough but I’m allergic to it - what kind of cruel joke is that? I didn’t study photography in college (gasp), but I did study music, and that kind of relates...right?

What can we say about Erica and her team that others haven’t said already? When we saw her portfolio, it stood out tremendously from others, whether it’s the natural colors, lighting, or composition, we both knew she was one of the most skilled photographers we’d seen, and we knew we would love her to be our photographer. When we then went to her website and read a little bit more about her and her story, we both became wide eyed and knew this was definitely our photographer. Over the next few weeks/months, as we made FaceTime dates together, set up our engagement shoot, and finally met in person, we both knew not only would Erica be our photographer, she had become our friend as well. Erica has a sweet disposition about her and is one of the nicest human beings you’ll ever get to talk to. She puts you at ease, makes the entire experience fun and very stress free – this is critical on one of the most stressful days of your life! She is excellent with communication, and her customer portal has all kinds of information that you didn’t even know you needed, and which will guide you throughout the whole process. She is quick to get you sneak peaks right away, which is fantastic since we all want to share those shots with friends and family right away. And once she sends you the final product, you will be blown away by the natural feel to each photo and how she captured each moment perfectly. Planning your wedding is already difficult enough - things go wrong, vendors don’t get back to you fast enough or are vague with their information – but working with Erica is a breath of fresh air! She stays in constant communication with you, is always available to answer questions or brainstorm ideas, and smooths the process over with ease. Plus, her positive nature is infectious and will rub off on you, especially on your wedding day. I’ve seen stressed out moms, bridesmaids, and a bride go from looking a bit overwhelmed to just beaming and glowing once she shows up and starts snapping away. Erica lives up to her company’s namesake ‘Sweet Alice’ because that’s what she is. The sweetest photographer (and person!) you’ll ever have the pleasure of working with. If you are considering hiring her for your wedding, take it from us – do it! It’ll be the easiest and one of the best wedding planning decisions you make!

Beacon, NY

I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light. I have since moved on to photographing people with better equipment and I still always search for that perfect light. I now live in the lovely Hudson Valley after a long stint in NYC and Brooklyn where I trained under fashion and editorial photographers before starting my own photography business almost 20 years ago. Full disclosure, I'm a little scared of the ocean.

Cappy was referred to my husband and me by a coworker and it was the best decision we could have made. Not only is she extremely talented, but she is one of the most joyful people we've ever met. She made the entire process a breeze and really fun. We started our working relationship with her when we decided to do an engagement shoot by the beach in Long Island. She made us look and feel like models. She spent so much time with us and was so flexible driving around to different locations and even scouted locations that we did not even think about. Since our engagement shoot was a full year before the wedding, we were able to get to know her and felt extremely comfortable for the wedding day. We also missed her dearly in between events! When it came to the wedding day, it was like she was part of the family. She was so professional, clear, and made family photos quick and easy before the actual wedding. Her assistant, Joe, was just as wonderful! Cappy even found the perfect "first look" location for us. During the actual wedding and reception, she was a ninja as we had no idea she was taking our photos as we enjoyed the evening. We had a hard time saying goodbye too! When we got our photos back we were stunned. She knew how to capture every moment and we felt like we can relive the best day of our lives over and over. Thank you, Cappy!

If I have a camera in my hands, then I am most definitely smiling. Photography has been my passion since I was a teenager and I love bringing that passion to weddings. I strive to capture all the intimate details that make a wedding truly personal. Don't be surprised if you see me crying during the parent dances, it's one of my favorite moments :)

I could not recommend Sarah enough. She did both our wedding and engagement photos. Both turned out amazing, she is extremely talented and personable.

Nina Marin Photography

Walden, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,600

Hey! I'm Nina. I'm a pretty energetic and charismatic person that loves love and enjoys life. Documenting through photo is my favorite thing on this planet. I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras to using flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. I have used writing, art, and photo to document my life and it is an incredibly special thing to be able to share that with my clients.

Awarded Best of Zola
I'd been following Nina Marin on Instagram for a number of years so once I got engaged, I knew exactly who to reach out to to capture my engagement shoot and elopement. As someone who cringes at being in front of the camera, she made me feel at ease and didn't hesitate to pose us or adjust our awkward hands/faces/etc. The pictures we got back felt like us — Nina was able to capture not only the visual aspects of our special day, but also the sheer bliss. I'm so grateful to have worked with such an easygoing and trustworthy photographer.

Erica was absolutely amazing to work with from answering all our questions meeting up to the day of and everything in between.
