I attended Scratch Academy founded by the legendary DJ Jam Master Jay of the iconic Run DMC. Sean Kershaw & the New Jack Ramblers formed in 2001 as a loose collective of musicians from various backgrounds who got together to play country music for fun. By the mid-aughts the band (now firmly centered around Yours Truly, Sean Kershaw) was a well-honed, professional music outfit playing everything from club dates to weddings, festivals and corporate and charity events. A CD, Coney Island Cowboy was released and the band hit the road, touring the East coast, California and Alaska. Sean also toured Australia using local musicians. Fast forward to 2023 the band is going strong, playing monthly gigs in Brooklyn and events everywhere.

Hey, my name is Jose and I am the Owner and DJ of LEM Entertainment. Since a very young age, music has always taken me to a happy place. I have been entertaining crowds since the late 90’s starting off as a club DJ and now I’ve transitioned over to private events in the last 7+ years. This experience has helped mold me and tailor what I bring to weddings.

Whether you are planning a large wedding ceremony and reception, corporate event, or back yard barbecue, The Sidewinders will complement the experience perfectly. They are equally adept at keeping large rooms dancing into the wee-hours as they are providing elegant accompaniment at cocktail and dinner parties. Their extensive repertoire covers Rock and Roll, Oldies, Motown, and Jazz. The full band includes eight musicians(Guitar/Vocals, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboards, Horns and Female Vocalist.)

Clerida and Adam, is an ideal cello and guitar duo to hire for wedding ceremonies or cocktail hours. Both musicians have a unique ability to play classical and also improvise with the fluidity of a jazz player. They are also a very rhythmic pair, so don’t be surprised if your cocktail hour guests start bobbing their heads or taking out their cell phone to shoot a quick video. Clerida and Adam are available for Weddings, Cocktail Hours, Corporate Events, and Dinners. They travel throughout the greater NYC area and also around the country.

When my friends started to get married, the requests to DJ their weddings began pouring in. It made sense, they wanted to party, and I had helped them do it weekend after weekend all over NYC. It only took one wedding for me to realize that they needed a lot more help than what I did in the clubs. These days, I and my team help plan & entertain at all types of events (not just weddings), clients become friends (they don’t start there) and they benefit from our staff’s collective experience and the 10 years in the event industry Stem Productions has been active.
